Last week Disney World’s Hollywood Studios debuted TWO new live stage shows - “Disney Villains: Unhappily Ever After” and “The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure”.

I was able to catch the new Villains show. (The Little Mermaid one had a malfunction and unfortunately wasn’t running on our Hollywood Studios day.)

Seeing some of the previews online (because I have zero self control!), I was a little skeptical on whether this would be worth the stop to see a 20 minute show.

Well let me tell you…it was worth it!!!

Without giving you any spoilers, we get to see things from the Magic Mirror’s point of view! 👀 And watch as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent plead their cases as to who is the most misunderstood and mistreated villain of all!

Something neat is each show has a different ending! And that definitely makes me want to see it again next time I visit!

Earlier this week, we returned from my son’s 10th birthday trip!!

As many times as my family and I have been to Disney, it amazes me how many new experiences there still are to experience.

This recent trip, here are a few of the “firsts”:
🦹🏼‍♀️We got to see the new Villains show in Hollywood Studios! It was fantastic!!!
🎂We tried the new Cake Bake restaurant at The Boardwalk. I err on the side that this might be my new favorite dining spot in all of Walt Disney World. 🫣
🐮I got to see MY FAVORITE character Clarabelle Cow roaming the parks!!! (Which is new for her.) Several other new meets - including Mandolorian and Grogu.
🥨Several new snacks.

All of this in the name of research!!! 😉😉 So I can educate my clients on all the best things to see and do.

❤️💚 Super Nintendo World - Like stepping into a Nintendo game from your childhood!!! ALL the details you probably thought you forgot about!

🦧🐵 Donkey Kong Country located in Super Nintendo World…Mine-Cart Madness Roller Coaster complete with jumping the missing track!

🎢 Celestial Park - Stardust Racers - one of the best roller coasters I’ve ever been on.

🪄 The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic. Set in Paris in the time period of the Fantastic Beast movies - immersive, interactive wand locations, best ride queue ever and great food/drinks.

🐉🐉Isle of Berk - How to Train Your Dragon. This far exceeded my expectations!!!! The Dragons all around. Incredible. Two attractions and a great show.

🧛🏼💀Dark Universe - All the best OG monsters! Frankenstein, Dracula, Mummy, Invisible Man, and many others. Best animatronics that have ever been created!!

I’m daydreaming about my next Disney World stay!! It will just be a quick trip with some fellow Travel Planners, but I’m MOST PUMPED to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge again!

This is one of the most overlooked of the Deluxe resorts! Likely because it is further from most of the parks. Yes, you plan a few extra minutes in your morning commute, but the vibe of this resort certainly offsets it! It feels like a true African safari getaway. It also has some of the best resort dining!

Coffee from your Savanna View room?! Yes please! 🙋🏼‍♀️
