It's the bittersweet part of the trip. The part where we're excited to get home to our own bed and our puppers, but also we don't want to leave. It has been a cold week here in Florida, but at least we left on a warm note at 70° today! Our next countdown officially begins....only 32 more days to go! Hopefully, the weather will treat us a little better time time around!

It's our last morning here at Animal Kingdom Lodge! We're checking out this morning and will spend some time in the parks before we head back home later tonight. This resort is now one of my favorites! Can't wait to get back and hopefully get to enjoy this savannah view room again when it's not so cold out!

Congratulations!!! The "K" Family will be setting sail this spring on Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas!!! This is an Oasis class ship and is great for families!! There are lots of activities that will keep their days filled! The kids can enjoy some time at the kids' clubs while Mom and Dad get some alone time!

Dinner last night was at Animal Kingdom Lodge's signature restaurant called Jiko-A Cooking Place. This dining option is one that I definitely would recommend trying out at least once. It also makes a great date night option!!

The food here has seasonings and spices that you might not find many other places, which makes things a bit exotic. You'll find flavors from Africa, India, and the Mediterranean.

Congratulations to the 'V" Family who is heading to Walt Disney World this November!!! They’ll be staying at Port Orleans Riverside and will get enjoy easy access to and from Disney Springs with their boat service!

If you guessed we were staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you would have been right!!! We've checked into our savannah view room for the rest of our trip! It's just started to get a little dark when we checked in, but we can see the shadows of the animals out in the savannah! Looking forward to waking up to the view tomorrow morning!!!
