🌳 Pine Creek Gorge (or the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania) makes for a gorgeous Fall Weekend Getaway.
Astonishing views, cliff walls, waterfalls, and picturesque hiking trails all make Pine Creek Gorge one of the top destinations to see Fall Foliage.
📍 Located about 3 hour and 45min drive from New York City. Pine Creek Gorge is part of the Tioga State Forest.
To see fall colors head to two "must-see" lookout points:
- Colton Point lookout on the west rim of the canyon.
- Leonard Harrison lookout on the east rim of the canyon.
Both offer spectacular views of the Canyon all year round, but visiting them in the fall is especially breathtaking!
You can also take a train ride on the Tioga Central Railroad.
We recommend you stay at beautiful Bear Lodges. These are unique B&Bs located right in the heart of The Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania, with private hot tubs, fireplaces, and breathtaking views from the rooms.
