Universal Cabana Bay Resort-
My thoughts- Lovely Resort with lots of family friendly options. Check in was smooth and easy and everyone has been so friendly!

Our room is plenty big enough for the 4 of us with 2 queen beds. There is a small table with 2 chairs and a bunch of outlets, but no USB ports of any type.

The pool areas are nice- 2 main pools and a lazy river. There are many other options besides swimming (or floating). There’s an arcade, bowling, ping pong tables, sand beaches, and fire pits.

📣Today has been filled with of lots of Disney updates.

I just asked my husband yesterday if he was going to get the yummy waffle chicken sandwich when we go in July.

Now the waffles at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom have been updated to °o° Mickey waffles.

I guess I will have to wait until July to know if I like this change!

I just can't stop myself with the updates:

The new system will go back to have "Groups" at EPCOT, MK, and HS to choose from. Personally, having groups was something I didn't love about Fastpass+, but time to roll with the changes! There will not be groups at Animal Kingdom.

This summer, changes are coming to the Disney Genie+ service and individual Lightning Lane entry, including new ways to plan ahead.

BREAKING DISNEY NEWS!

The Genie+ system will be changing again, starting on July 24th.

On July 24, Walt Disney World will introduce new, simpler names to provide more clarity for everyone. Disney Genie+ service will become Lightning Lane Multi Pass, while individual Lightning Lane will now be known as Lightning Lane Single Pass.

Important Update -

Lightning Lane Multi Pass
When guests purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, they may make up to 3 Lightning Lane selections in a theme park, in advance of your visit. They’ll also be able to choose available times as they make their selections. On the day of their visit, once they use a selection, they may check the My Disney Experience app for availability to make an additional selection.

Lightning Lane Single Pass
Lightning Lane Single Pass will work much like it does today, where guests can secure a time to ride one of our most highly demanded attractions, but they’ll now be able to make their purchase and plan in advance.

How to Plan Ahead
Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel and other select hotels (Shades of Green Resort, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels) will be able to plan Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance, for their entire stay (up to 14 days). All other guests can plan up to 3 days in advance. These advance purchase windows will let guests secure some of their must-do rides and experiences after they've had some time to decide what dining reservations they want to book and any other plans they may need to consider.

Guests may purchase a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, a Lightning Lane Single Pass or both. The app will also be updated to make it quicker and easier to purchase and plan, with fewer steps and a new option to purchase Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Multi Pass in one transaction.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort Holiday Edition

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a limited capacity five-hour holiday event, kicking off November 8 and running on select nights through December 20 from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10.

The dates for 2024 are:

November 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
December 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20
