A warning about Uber in Brazil. I booked a trip from Paraty to Sao Paulo and should have realized that something was amiss when the driver, Karson, asked me my destination and the amount of the charge. When we arrived in Sao Paulo, he refused to give me my luggage until after I paid him more money. When I complained to Uber, they refused to refund the amount that he extorted from me.
