"Crucita is located in the parish of the same name, 40 km from Manta, 45 km from Bahía de Caráquez, and only 28 km from the capital of the province of Manabí, Portoviejo.
Crucita limits the north with San Jacinto and San Clemente of the Charapotó parish of the Sucre canton. To the south with the canton Jaramijó. To the east it limits with Charapotó, El Pueblito and Cañitas of the Sucre canton and Higuerón of the Rocafuerte canton. Its west is bathed by the waters of the Pacific Ocean."
