Private, Peaceful, UNBELIEVABLY Close To The River! Fish, Kayak and More!
If you're looking for peace, tranquility and the MOST gorgeous views of the Rappahannock River from (almost) EVERY room in the house, then welcome to your clean and newly-built little slice of heaven.
"The Cottage", as it has been lovingly called by the owners since 1965, has a magical air of peace that hits you from the moment you come around the final bend in to the private property where The Cottage resides. As you step out of the car and take in your first breath of crisp, clean, country air, your worries will melt away.
The original Cottage was, unfortunately, one of the many victims of Hurricane Isabel's destructive path in 2003. The home was rebuilt in 2005 almost precisely to it's original footprint (but with a better, updated layout); hence the allowance for the home being SO close to the majestic Rappahannock River (you cannot legally build this close to the water anymore!).
The home boasts two bedrooms, one full bath and, oddly enough, one random, lonesome toilet in the utility room.
