World Book Day with Tom Gates & Little Miss Princess! 🌍📚👸🏻

What’s your children’s favourite book? Which costume did they wear today? We had a last minute costume change for Yasmin as she refused to dress as the very hungry caterpillar…but we got there in the end and luckily managed to get to school on time 😅

Family reunion 💚🇧🇷 🔙📸 from our trip to Brazil last month.

It was so good to meet my parents and sister again after nearly 2 years without hugging them 🥰

Due to the pandemic we were not able to fly there and they couldn’t come over to visit us either so it was really hard to be apart for so long 🥲💔 When restrictions were lifted we immediately booked and flew out there as soon as we could. Our house was being renovated so we thought it was just perfect to go away then. One thing I learned during these strange times is that the last minute holidays bookings are the best and always work best 👍 there is no point in booking far in advance and stressing about travel restrictions changing! I’m so glad we went to see them then and didn’t book Christmas instead because travel is once again looking a bit uncertain with this new variant 🤨

God Save The Queen, thank you for having me! 🇬🇧👑🙏Couldn’t be more delighted to be posing with Her Majesty as an official British Citizen 🤩❤️🎉

After so many years of procrastination and a long and though process I’m so happy that my naturalisation has been finally completed and accepted. There were so many years of filling up forms, tests and exams, gathering piles of documents and historical information, lots of ££££ spent, 2 biometric appointments, sleepless nights and stressing about Brexit + applying for an European settlement, it was hard to keep up with the ever changing forms and rules. It’s such a big relief that I made it, they can’t get rid of me now! 😜💪

I grew up in Brazil but spent most of my adult life in London, where I met the love of my life and had our 2 lovely children. I’m still so proud of my Brazilian and European heritage but feel extremely grateful and privileged to be able to call this beautiful kingdom my forever home.

Thank you so much to my family and friends for the support during this journey, love you guys 🥰💋

Happy Children’s Day! Feliz Dia das Crianças! 🎈👶🎉 🍭🍿🪁🧸

On 12 of October we celebrate Children’s Day in Brazil, which is also a national bank holiday, the kids get gifts like on Christmas and it’s another excuse for a big party! It was such a big date for me growing up and it brings lots of sweet happy memories of my childhood 🥰

Today it reminds me of celebrating and trying to keep that child alive inside me and also as a parent to stop taking things so seriously all the time, and let my inner child to take over every now and then, be silly and play with my kids as if we were all around the same age.

🔙📸 My 4 month old baby girl Yazzy🤱on this day 3 years ago 🥰 I do miss the baby stage, it goes so quickly as they grow up too fast!

Birthday celebrations started over the weekend. 🥂🎉I guess I’m another year older, wiser and more grateful for the amazing family and friends I have and everything I have already experienced. I still feel like a rebellious teenager every now and then though👩‍🎤🤘😹 looking forward to another cycle of life and new memories to be made 💜

🔙📸 Twinning with my Supergirl 🦸‍♀️
📍Campbestival July 2021 in Dorset, it was a big highlight of our summer holidays and part of our road trip around England, Wales and Ireland.

It was such an amazing experience to be back raving with thousands of people, enjoying music, dancing, camping and having fun with family, friends, making new friends and sharing the dance floor with total strangers once again was absolutely incredible 🥰

We are back! After a summer long break, trying to stay away from social media as much possible, I’m happy to be back on Instagram 😄I really needed that extra time to be with the children over the holidays and it was great!

Now that the kids are in school, Callen in year 4 and Yasmin going to nursery for the first time ever, I hope to find enough time to finish my UX Design Training.

Anyone else also changing careers after the pandemic or after having kids? Moving on to a different field is very exciting and scary at the same time, but I’m loving the challenge, and learning something new is fun 🤩

Look who we found at Boots today! Mummy and Baby Dove 💙🕊

Callen was 9 months when we had our photo taken for the campaign and 8 years on we still find our faces printed on leaflets, posters or magazines and it makes me smile 😍 we are really proud of such an amazing campaign that went to launch around the globe! Have you tried Baby Dove yet? What’s your favorite Baby care range?

This photo reminds me of baby Callen, myself as a first time parent and how lovely that phase was 🥰 a very sweet memory of that day is that he breastfed for the last time during that photoshoot 🤱🥲 I was a little bit sad about that because I wanted to keep breastfeeding him for longer but I guess he was more interested in food than b***s and that’s ok 😊 babies do grow up too quickly so if you have one right now enjoy every phase and milestone! 😘

Camping trip over the halfterm - North London 🏕 Do you enjoy camping or glamping with your family?

Aldenham Country Park is such a lovely place with a farm, adventure playground and lots of walks to do with the kids. We went wild camping but they also have glamping facilities.

We booked a camp fire 🔥and they provide everything you need so you can do it yourself. We had a BBQ and booked the straw bales and the kids loved the whole experience! We had to cut our trip short because of the weather but we still had an amazing time! I guess we’ll do lots more camping in the UK this year.
