Deichman consists of 22 local libraries located all over Oslo. Deichman was founded in 1785 and is Norway’s oldest and largest public library. Oslo's new main library, Deichman Bjørvika, is located between Oslo Central Station and the Opera house.

Eggum

The fishing village of Eggum lies on the seaward side of Vestvågøy island, alone between the ocean and the mountains. The place attracts numerous visitors who come to experience the midnight sun. Facing the open ocean is a rest area in the shape of an amphitheatre with a car park and service facilities. On the west side of the car park stands an intricate artwork by Marcus Raetz: a head looking out over the sea with the top either down or up, depending on your angle of vision.

Torghatten (Granite dome in Norway), and its distinctive hole going clear through the mountain is widely known, both here in Norway and internationally.

This hole, which is 160 metres long, 35 metres high, and 20 metres wide, was created during the Ice Age.

Ice and water laboriously eroded away at the loose rock sediment whereas the harder rock types of the upper part of the mountain withstood these forces.

Haukland Beach is one of Lofoten’s most famous beach and hike, located on the westside on Lofoten. The caribbean like-waters, mountain landscape in the background, and its white sand beach make Haukland Beach, a popular destination for travelers and photo-seekers year round.

Uttakleiv Beach is located on one of the Lofoten Islands and is considered to be the most photogenic Norwegian beach. Here (usually during winter sunsets) people can watch borealis.

Reine (The administrative centre of Moskenes Municipality in Nordland county, Norway).

The fishing village is located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten archipelago, above the Arctic Circle, about 300 kilometres (190 mi) southwest of the town of Tromsø. Reine Church is located here and it serves the northern part of the municipality.

The marble castle. Fantastic potholes and beautiful designs in the marble made of river of meltwater with its beautiful turquoise color from the glacier Svartisen.
