Barnesmore Gap is a mountain pass situated in the Bluestack Mountains and connects the towns of Ballybofey and Donegal Town.

Located in the Gap is The Byre at Biddy's / Biddys O'Barnes a traditional Irish Pub Gastro Pub that is a favourite stopping point for people from all over the world passing through. https://www.biddysobarnes.com/

The Donegal railway used to run through here until the 1950s, connecting south and north Donegal. It offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

DONEGAL's BIGGEST CHOIR
To celebrate Donegal Town's 550th anniversary, a unique attempt to put together Donegal's BIGGEST choir; Sing550 will take place on Sunday 22nd September in St. Agatha’s Church, Clar, Donegal Town. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a secret shower singer, you're ALL welcome.
The day will start at 12noon with rehearsal to 3pm. Break from 3pm to 5pm. Back at 5pm to get ready to sing for a real, live audience at 5.50pm.
Even if you’ve never sung in a choir before, don’t be afraid - this really is celebratory fun event for EVERYONE
