The lake was packed to see “the Italians” fireworks show in Torch Cove. Great music set to fantastic fireworks each year!

As the leaves fall, it's time to turn our eyes to the treetops for a clear view of the bird species that are sticking around this winter. Rascal our raccoon ambassador has a very important question for you! Will you be coming to visit her for the open house this Saturday July 22nd?? The open house will be from 11am to 3pm. Join us for animal education, kids games, face painting and a hot dog lunch by donation. Come learn about wildlife rescue, rehab, and release! Admission is free! We hope to see you there!!

Another good week out kayaking. Betty had 3 babies this year on Party Island (yup I named her), painted turtles out sunbathing by the island off Salisbury, and best day ever seeing a mink with her 5 babies-so extremely rare in our cove-they were so fast! If I see this black bear the neighbors have been rumoring about I will just have had the best week of finds…
