Expression of Interest (EOI) for First Nations Designer / Artists.

We are seeking a unique design to support a Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) prevention and information campaign targeting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Central Queensland region – with a specific focus on Woorabinda, Biloela, Emerald and Rockhampton.

Take a stroll in the countryside to see the 10 tree wrap art installations along the Taragoola Rd walking trail.

Financial contributors of the Gladstone Fund include Boyne Smelters Limited, ConocoPhillips as downstream operator of Australia Pacific LNG, Queensland Alumina Limited, Rio Tinto Yarwun, GLNG, Shell’s QGC Business and other local industries.

The Gladstone Region has a thriving community of the arts. Over the years it has invested in a range of public art across the region and has over 120 pieces of Public Art. It's time to showcase these works to their full potential. We have seen in other regions how they have maximised Public art for economical growth and develop a communities connection to place.

Earlier this year savvy applicants took on the ‘Turtle Tank’ - a Gladstone Regional Council, Together Gladstone and G.A.P.D.L tourism initiative designed to support the region through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and assist with the recovery of the tourism industry.

From the range of initiatives pitched, six were chosen by a panel of ‘expert investors’ and successful in securing a total of $60,000 funding to help them make tracks in tourism and innovation and bring their initiatives to life.

💡 Traveller's Rest 1770 - Marketing assets to promote Traveller’s Rest 1770 & Bush Tracks
💡 Ward's Brewery - Design and build a mobile bar
