As a food lover who’s always on the hunt for the perfect bite, let me tell you — Laurel Hardware is absolute magic. From the chic, industrial vibes (seriously, the ambiance is everything) to the incredible flavors on the plate, this spot checks every box.

But can we talk about this duck fried rice for a second? It’s crispy, savory, and just the right amount of rich. The flavor explosion? Unmatched. Every bite is like a warm hug from the inside, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat fried rice the same way again. It’s THAT good.

The atmosphere? Picture-perfect. Dim lighting, lush plants, and that signature WeHo energy make this place a total vibe.

Just spent an amazing getaway at Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun, and it was pure paradise! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into another world.

The resort is stunning, with luxurious suites, beautiful pools, and a private beach that’s perfect for relaxation. We stayed in the 2-story terrace suite, and it was everything you’d imagine and more! Having a private rooftop terrace with a plunge pool and ocean views was an absolute dream—perfect for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night.

Speaking of relaxation, I treated myself to the Mimosa Spa Treatment, and it was absolutely divine. Starting with a champagne-infused scrub and followed by a soothing massage, it left me feeling rejuvenated and completely blissed out. The spa itself is a sanctuary, with tranquil vibes that make it the perfect escape.

And a special shoutout to the amazing staff and entertainment team! They truly go above and beyond to make each day unforgettable, from poolside activities to evening shows that keep the energy going. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely passionate about making our stay perfect.

Just got back from Excellence Playa Mujeres, and let me tell you—the food was incredible! From gourmet dining to casual bites, every meal felt like a mini vacation in itself.

Mornings started with decadent breakfasts—think fresh pastries, tropical fruits, and perfectly brewed coffee. Lunch was all about laid-back vibes at the beach grill and international flavors at the buffet.

The dinner options were unreal. Every restaurant had a different vibe, from Asian fusion to French bistro to authentic Mexican flavors. The chefs here know their craft, and it shows in every dish. And don’t even get me started on the desserts and cocktails—they were just as beautiful as they were delicious.

To top it all off, we got to experience their wonderful Halloween and Dia de los Mu***os celebrations! The resort went all out with decor, themed menus, and special events that made it truly unforgettable. From festive treats to stunning altars, it was a beautiful blend of fun and tradition.

Whether you’re looking to indulge or just want fresh, flavorful food all day long, this resort knows how to deliver. Can’t wait to come back and do it all over again! Sorry for the lack of pictures but the food was usually devoured before pictures!

Eden’s menu has something for every traveler. For sushi lovers, the downstairs area also offers Umi by Hamasaku, where you’ll find some of the freshest, most artfully prepared sushi in town.

We chose to sit downstairs in the romantic ambiance of Umi, and though it’s known for its sushi, we decided to explore the non-sushi options—and we were not disappointed! The truffle pasta was even more delicious than I imagined, with the addition of tender chicken balancing the richness of the dish perfectly. And let’s talk about the truffle burger! Paired with crispy shoestring fries, every bite left a lingering taste of indulgence that we’re still thinking about.

If you’ve ever dined at Providence, you already know that Chef Cimarusti’s creations are nothing short of spectacular. This 2 Michelin-starred marvel in Los Angeles continues to set the bar high, and our latest visit was a testament to why it remains a top culinary destination.

Every dish is a visual masterpiece, and while it’s tough to choose a favorite, the Amber Kaluga Caviar starter was a standout. When it comes to the main course, Providence takes a delightful detour from seafood, offering choices like sumptuous Wagyu steak or succulent duck. We decided to go all out with the cheese course, diving into a luscious truffle brie served with perfectly toasted bread. The grand finale was a cocoa tea that left us swooning, complemented by a selection of sweet bites that were simply divine.

And just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, Providence surprised us with house-made dark chocolate bars to take home—a sweet finale to a memorable dining experience.

Sure, the price tag reflects the premium experience, but it’s an investment in an unforgettable occasion. We can’t wait to return for another special celebration at Providence—where every visit feels like a grand feast for the senses.

Granville may have multiple locations across Southern California, but it’s far from your typical chain restaurant. Each spot exudes its own unique charm. The menu is diverse, catering to a wide range of tastes, with plenty of plant-based options for vegetarians. One standout dish is the grilled cheese dippers—comfort food perfection. Another must-try is the Santa Barbara chicken sandwich, with its mouthwatering caramelized onions adding a delicious flavor. Granville is a laid-back, yet irresistibly tasty, go-to spot. And with a tempting happy hour, it’s even harder to resist!

Game Changer Brewery is the newest brewhouse in Sherman Oaks. With numerous TVs, it’s the perfect spot to catch any game. While they’re still expanding their beer selection, the food is good. The flatbread, topped with celery, is unexpectedly delightful, and the burger, with feta cheese, is a standout. Can’t wait to return!

Los Angeles is filled with Mexican restaurants, and I love exploring new ones to see how they stack up. Recently, we ventured to Alma at the Grove on a busy weekend. The outdoor seating is not only inviting but also perfect for people-watching. As you browse the menu, you’re treated to a delightful serving of chips and salsa. Their cocktail selection features a variety of margarita-inspired drinks that are sure to please.

The flautas, served on a bed of black beans with salsa, were a standout. The fajitas, accompanied by some scrumptious panela cheese, were another highlight. Although the Tostado de Atún didn’t quite hit the mark for me, the overall experience was wonderful. On a beautiful Los Angeles day, Alma at the Grove is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal in a vibrant atmosphere.

In the heart of Switzerland, we embarked on a delightful journey through the famed chocolate shops. Our first stop was Sprüngli. The moment we entered, we were greeted by a tantalizing display of truffles, each promising a symphony of taste. With flavors ranging from classic dark to exotic fruit-infused varieties, choosing just one felt like a delicious dilemma.

After savoring the velvety truffles, we couldn’t resist experiencing Sprüngli’s renowned hot chocolate—a rich, comforting blend that warmed both body and soul. And for the ultimate indulgence, their chocolate cake proved to be a divine treat, crafted to perfection for true chocolate aficionados. Every bite was a celebration of Swiss chocolate-making tradition, leaving us utterly enchanted and eager to explore more.

When a restaurant is called The Restaurant, it leaves you wondering if it deserves the name. This 2 Michelin ⭐️ establishment in Zurich is located at the fancy Dolder Grand in Zurich, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. Chef Heiko Nieder curates a menu incorporating many unique flavors which blend together perfectly. For someone who sometimes gets nervous about trying food I’ve never heard of, I was impressed by the Roe Buck. The addition of wasabi in a couple dishes was unexpected but a nice touch. The dessert with olives and herbs was delicious despite my hesitation! Overall, a great experience!
