Selma did you know we have a cut your own Christmas tree farm? Johnson Christmas Tree Farm had their grand opening Friday, Nov. 29th! Hours: Thursday- Saturday 9am-4:30 pm and Sunday 1-4:30 pm until Dec. 15th! Check them out!

I’m sure that you are familiar with the Crocheron Columns, especially if you have ever been to the park before. But did you know that this was the house, then the Mathews home, that Battle of Selma Confederate General Forrest and Union General Wilson met to discuss an exchange of prisoners captured during the recent battle? For a few hours, they enjoyed ci**rs, cordials and conversation, then parted ways and returned to war. If you would like to hear more about this story, then join us for our Civil War Walking Tour this Saturday, April 1st at 10:00 am. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased by calling 334-872-8058 or onsite at the Visitor Center on the day of the tour.
