When in Athens in the summer, once should not miss a show at the Herodion Theater just below the Acropolis. The theater was built in 161AD by Herodes Atticus and renovated in the 1950s as the main venue for the Athens & Epidaurus Festival, along of course with the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus. In addition to the performances produced by the Festival, the theater also hosts a multitude of private shows during the summer. Whether it is theater, a contemporary rock concert, Greek traditional music, or opera, the experience is memorable and at Beyond Leisure we have our little secrets to make it even more comfortable.

We just love how the gastronomic scene has evolved during the years in Greece and we couldn’t be prouder of that was awarded Two Michelin Stars 2022 & One Michelin Star for Sustainable Gastronomy only a year after opening it’s doors! Delta Restaurant at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is definitely a worthy experience for everyone visiting Athens! Congratulations to the entire Delta Team for earning such a significant recognition! ✨

We visited the brand-new , part of the YES hotel group as well as a member of Design Hotels, and we immediately fell in love with it. From the stunning and innovating architecture of the hotel by and , to the meticulously curated contemporary art selection by Nadia Argyropoulou that prevails in each suite as well in all public spaces, and of course lighting by the one and only , the hotel is a rising star on the other side of the island. With 121 Rooms and Suites including 4 rooms with wheelchair accessibility, Nous checks all the boxes and is ideal for groups but also those looking to avoid the cliffside crowds.

Congrats to the entire team including Stefania Flenga Managing Director of Yes Hotels, as well as to Mike Metaxas the hotel’s General Manager.

We love smart architectural Design Hotels. We visited in Kourouta, an unknown still to many destination, with great beauty and proximity to major sites in Peloponnese. The hotel was named after the two Signature Wine Tanks that already existed there and were elevated to one of the coolest hotels and most significant projects by the undoubtably successful

Cosme, A Luxury Collection Resort in Paros by Kanava Hotels, opened last week and we had the honor of being hosted for a few nights. Located only 7 minutes walking distance from the vibrant and picturesque fishing village of Naousa and on the sandy beach of Agious Anargyrous, Cosme ticks all the boxes. Beachfront location, proximity to town, Luxury Collection standards of service and product, and of course the all-star team from Kanava Hotels operating and taking care of all our guests’ needs.

We really didn’t need another reason to visit the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (National Opera, National Library, the Esplanade, the Sound Garden, Delta restaurant) and yet here we have it with Louise Bourgeois’ monumental sculpture Maman (1999) presented in collaboration with NEON.
