UT Southern students are back on campus! Here's what you can do with your week:

🧡 Monday - "Go back to high school" and audition for STAAR Theatre at Antoinette Hall's performance of GREASE! Auditions will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 6pm.

🧡 Tuesday - Head over to the UT Southern campus for food trucks, live music & fireworks on the green! The fun starts at 5pm, live music at 7pm, and fireworks to follow.

🧡 Wednesday - Have you checked out the new Spirit Shop at The University of Tennessee Southern yet? "The Nest" is now open, located on the first floor of the student union beside the Firehawk Cafe.

🧡 Friday - The Mill at Hickman Farms is raising money for the kids and families of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. There will be food, live music, lemonade, ice cream, build-your-own bouquet, mini train rides, and more from 4pm - 7pm!

🧡 Also on Friday - Venue 220 at Kitchen 218 has a special night planned this Friday with a UTS Alumni Artist Showcase from 7pm - 9pm!

This week has flown by and we hope you spend one more night with us at the Ag Park! Today we started off with our 5 Mile Stampede, Antique Machinery Show, Beef Show and Food Truck Rally. Then tonight get ready for the Giles County Rodeo, Lew Lew's Mechanical Bull, and if you aren't a rodeo fan the Big Creek Winery Free Concert.

We have had the best week with everyone!!

In fall of 2023, the Tennessee Historical Commission awarded nearly $900,000 in Historic Preservation Fund grants, including $25,000 to the Matt Gardner Homestead Museum for stabilization efforts.

With additional funds from the Land Trust for Tennessee, this project aims to restore the museum and its surroundings, opening it seasonally to the public and preserving its historical context.
