It was a 2 key lime pie kind of night 💍🥧
It took me a few days to figure out Rorbuer translates to fishing hut 🛖 😅 Everywhere in you’ll see “Rorbuer” as signs for places to stay, just like this cute one here!
The significance of the red color in Scandinavia once meant you were from wealth. A lot of the rorbuer are built right over the water with the ocean lapping beneath your feet.
Which street scene of Copenhagen do you love the most?

Lofoten in the Summer is always colorful 🇳🇴💙 The trick is…
timing it all to get these beautiful conditions AND getting here!
There are a couple of ways to get to these amazing islands. I chose to fly from Oslo to Bodø, then take the 3 hour ferry to Moskenes, and then explore driving the islands!
🇳🇴
No one: Let’s go to the Arctic for the beaches!

Most unique place I’ve stayed and easily the most remote!

Weekend at is the perfect hotel stay in Victoria
The service and hospitality is one of the best I’ve experienced. The Magnolia Hotel has all the personable touches you could ask for.
And who doesn’t love brunch in bed?!

The moment I checked in I knew I was in for a treat because…
I was handed a robe immediately and was informed I can wear my robe around the hotel 👀🤯 Looking around I saw everyone relaxing, enjoying their freshly made meals, and enjoying the multiple saunas and pools.
offers a luxurious experience in the charming town of Leavenworth. It was tempting to not leave the property at all as the hotel has so much to offer.
Sharing my galley of my experience staying at the Post. My favorite moments were being fireside in the morning before enjoying my coffee and the hours spent in the saunas 👏🏻
“Words don’t help in the articulation of our souls when we want to share where we’ve been and who we have become.” Terry Tempest Williams
Like this quote, I find myself not always being able to find words that exist in times of transformation. And who I become is always changing.
Like photography, life will always appear different when you change the aperture. Each day I have to ask myself, how much light am I going to let in?

Any guesses on this location? And it’s not an ocean 😉
Do you know what two movies were filmed from this lookout?!
This view was shot from Ecola state park, North of Cannon beach. Also near the town Astoria (hint).
Comment your guesses!

It’s been one year since I last visited the beautiful Oregon coast. But the views of Haystack got even better with Sam there this time.

Many times I have read that your outer world is reflection of your inner world. What a simple observation and yet it brings tears to my eyes. I think of the kindness and compassion I have received from strangers. I think of the places I have travelled and I am humbled and grateful. I know when I look out to the mountains before me I am witnessing my very heart within me.
Shot from October 2021 here in Washington when I was visiting for a hiking trip. This was the week I decided I needed to move here! Coincidently the same week I met Sam 🫶🏻
Car camping 🏕️ is getting elevated with double mattress 👏🏻 Sam and I tested it out and it’s perfect for us both!

My writings I share come from journaling. I started journaling as a way to remove creative “blocks” I had. It opened a lot more than creativity for me. Journaling allowed me to identify and heal emotions, to express my grief and trauma, to be vulnerable, to speak without fear or judgment, to discover my behavioral patterns and resist ego.
Whatever your practice is, make it a practice. Commit to carving out that time for yourself. I take self healing and self growth passionately and believe strongly that everyone should be celebrating their own journey as well. And I say “celebrating” intentionally. Because hardships too are celebrations of freeing yourself from suffering and limitations of your life. 🫶🏻🙏🏻
Black and white photos are available for purchase! Specially curated of my favorite images and edited just for this occasion 🖤 For those of you that are new, I sell a variety of photo sizes in prints, canvas, and metal!
