My goal has always been to have our children comfortable traveling and excited to see the world. Dropped one off at the airport today to head to Germany for 19 days and I head back to the airport in 10 hours to pick the other one up from her adventures in Canada.
I think they understood the assignment too well 🤪

February is the month of Love 💕 and at Just So Magical Vacations we are talking about ALL the Disney things we love so much. . . Starting with… THE FOOD!

Because Disney cruises are my favorite, it goes without saying my favorite Disney foods come from Disney ships … some of the best food in my life I’ve had on a Disney Cruise Line ship.

A little more rain to start the day, but it cleared up quick… we’ve ridden everything at least once, had frozen butter beer, regular butter beer and hot butter beer, Nathan’s had his favorite taco truck twice, but most of all we had a lot of good conversation and a lot of smiles and laughs. Take the time, take the trip, make the memories, you won’t regret it.

Travel Day… quick uneventful flight, charcuterie and wine for dinner at Wine Bar George, live music, shopping and the waitress at dinner gave Natalie a free pineapple Dole Whip Moscato smoothie for her birthday! Mom/Daughter birthday trip off to a great start. Cheers to 21!
Tomorrow we are headed to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios to do all of her favorite things!!

In honor of National Best Friends Day… let’s talk about traveling to Disney with your best friend. This guy here is my #1 absolute best friend in the world and I LOVE doing Disney with him. Don’t get me wrong, I love Disney with the kiddos, no matter the ages, but there’s something really awesome about just you and your BFF being kids again together.

Natalie and I spent the morning at Disneyland Park, we rode Hyperspace Mountain… wow… did the tea cups, took in a parade, and just walked around and talked until the boys arrived at 3:15. We spent the majority of the day at Walt Disney Studios. They take their coasters seriously here in Paris. It was great to experience new rides! Finished the day back at Disneyland Paris. Thunder Mointain here is AMAZING.
Now we are off for day two!

I beat the rest of the family to Paris by a day so I had the opportunity to wander Disneyland Paris by myself last night. Such a gorgeous park!

We are home! LONG DAY of travel yesterday. We are all exhausted but nothing compares to a great family vacation (don’t wait, they grow too fast, spend the time, make the memories… book the trip!)

My thoughts on the Disney Wish:

✨ If you have younger children, this ship has SO much to offer them
✨ The slide from deck 3 to the Oceaneer’s Club is fantastic
✨ The Hero Zone- moving things like 🏀 and 🏓 into an air conditioned space was brilliant. Using that space for inflatables later in the day: even more brilliant
✨ We loved the AquaMouse!!
✨ BEAUTIFUL ship. You really feel like you stepped inside a castle 🏰 in the atrium
✨ Dining was great. The interactive dining in the Avengers Theme and Arendelle restaurants were awesome. The food in 1923 was oh so good.
✨ The shows: honestly, they seemed like they weren’t quite ready. BUT, when they are, they should be really good! There was definitely a lot of talent on the stage!
✨ So many activities to choose from! Our kiddos chose shore excursions and had a blast parasailing 🪂 and paddle boarding!
✨ Adults Only… the infinity pool has a great view off the back of the 🚢
✨ There are 9 family pools and a Toy Story Splash Zone for the littlest kiddos!
Overall it was a great vacation with LOTS of family time, lots of laughter and lots of fun.
