This Life Jacket✨🥹✨

With each river we melded our histories together. All told 27 new rivers, seven bayous,seven creeks, two lakes, and two salt water islands were inscribed on the jacket. Were inscribed in me. Many times over ✨✨✨

This Life Jacket has come as close as any inanimate object to becoming an extension of my person. It conformed to the sinews and muscles of my body, sure. More than just moving fluid with me, it moves fluid OF me✨✨✨

Through these years it has become sun damaged, battered and tired. It feels bitter sweet to hang it up for retirement. But I am looking forward to new memories and more rivers w my next life jacket 🥹🥹🥹

Guided a raft down the Cache La Poudre River in Northern Colorado ! Its been a few years since I guided whitewater but the corney dad jokes and broad smile came back quick !

put on the event. They are dedicated to making paddeling more accessible to BIPOC and allies. Follow them if you are into paddel sports, equity, inclusion.

GEOLOGY & FOSSIL TOUR. April 8-11th.
Paddle down a river with 35 million years of history. Cutting through soil, clay, shale, & limestone. All layers rich with evidence of the ancient sea floor that once covered this area.

Come with your cameras to check out trilobites, shells, and sand dollars. Please note we will be taking only pictures and leaving the fossils and shells for future visitors to enjoy.

Ppl return from these river camping trips full and replenished. Literally with a full belly (we eat very very well). But also figuratively full. Full of a new energy, new friendships, new enthusiasm for life

As this lil 🛶 biz begins its second full year, I’m reflecting on the very first time I brought out paying guests (some strangers at that!)

Man the things I’ve learned. Lots of growth has come with time, analysis, and effort.

A sincere thank you to all those who have come on a canoe camping adventure so far. And to all those who are considering a trip, please HMU, I’d love to take you out on the river ✨
