Book Your Italy - about us
Book Your Italy is the new inbound brand by Travel-Lab Tour Operator and D.M.C. (Destination Management Company), founded in 2010 by the general manager Stefano Costa, who has been working in this field since 1994, such as a licensed hiking and tourist guide and previously an employer at a big tour operator as an account manager of group tours towards European capitals.
After his meeting with Chiara Palumbo, a licensed tour guide in the area of Lake Maggiore and Lake Como, the company created the inbound touristic product The Italian Lakes, which oversees the organization of services for leisure, business, corporate and incentive tourism, towards the Lake District of Northern Italy (Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Lake Garda, Lake Orta, Lake Lugano, Lake Iseo and Lake Varese), including the most important cities such as Milan, Bergamo, Turin, Verona and Venice and providing hotel reservations, transfers, special customized tours, guided visits, organization of events and team-building activities both for individuals and groups.
Starting a cooperation with some local providers, since 2015, we have been organizing daily trips and complete tours in the province of Parma, where the company has one of its headquarters. The choice to create a second inbound touristic product called 100% Parma & Valleys was due to our interest to sell the highlights of our country. Italy is well-known for its monuments and its culture, but for its food, too. In 2015 Parma was awarded by the UNESCO as the Creative City of Gastronomy, thanks to its local typical products such as: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Parma ham, Culatello di Zibello, Felino salami, cooked shoulder of ham from San Secondo, black truffle from Fragno and Valceno, Porcino mushroom from Borgotaro, Lambrusco and Colli di Parma wines. That’s why we thought about a combination of important factors.
