An energetic group of 18 joined in for the last winter hike which took place
Beautiful winter skies and a great effort from all present. See you in spring 🌿

Finish winter with a bang! Join us on this ‘nearly spring’ challenge at Hennops on 26th August. It’s a fairly tough trail so don’t recommend children under 12. Venue fees are 100 for adults and 50 for school kids. Jozi hiker fees are 0️⃣ 😊

Time to dust off the boots and brave the winter! Join us on the 22nd July at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve in JHB south for some fresh air and exercise. It’s free entry, so just bring your water, snacks and a good attitude 😉

This months hike will be a little more chilled 😎
A fairly gentle 4km and time for a picnic. There’s a great waterfall and we should hopefully see the 🦅 🦅
Anyone is free to join us, the only fees are the entrance fees into the gardens.

Happy hikers (and pets) on the Peglerae trail!

It was a super hot 🥵 day but the crew did really well. Have to say that this was the best marked trail we’ve hiked on in the region, and the De Wildt team do a great job keeping the trails clean, indigenous and safe 🙌 We will be back

Join us for our second hike of 2023 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏼🙌

We’re going to be hiking the 9km trail at

It's a moderate trail that is most popular for families with children, which gives you a view of Hartbeespoort dam and surroundings.
It is an all-out experience, you get to climb the mountain, experience the views, see the season waterfalls and rockpools

All hikers are welcome to join.
The only costs are the venue costs of R100pp and R60 for kids under 13

Join us on our next hike at Harties River Hiking trail on the 17th of December. We don’t charge any fees but the price to hike at the venue is R60 (cash payment only) kids u13 are R30. All are welcome…

Fantastic 10km hike this morning at Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve in Jozi South.
If you’ve never tried these trails on jozi’s doorstep out, be sure to give them a go this summer. Free entry, clean, safe and plenty of routes to choose from👍
