It's been a challenging summer, with storms and flooding washing away the Kopu Hikuai, but we've still had a steady (and increasing) number of visitors to the town, taking the scenic routes through Whangamata or Coromandel. We're getting more and more overseas visitors too, from Europe, America and West Island (known to the natives as Straya).
There's plenty of visitors coming to us from other parts of Godzone as well of course.
Right now I'm installing a door in the hallway entrance to the rooms downstairs, making the apartment totally separate from the rest of the house, and giving our visitors additional privacy and security.

Bronnie and I are getting ready for the world to re-open, America excepted of course, they're still in the midst of a Trumpdemic. Following on our beach theme in the guest unit downstairs the sofa is now on the beach!! We put up a mural in the guest lounge, looks pretty good

The Whiti Central Guest House has been running for about 3 weeks now, and we've had a great time meeting and hosting our guests, who come from all around New Zealand and the world. It's a mark of Bronnie's accomplishments as the hostess with the mostest that we've had 5 star ratings across the board from all our guests so far.

Hi all, we're about booked out now until the end of January, and have started taking bookings for February. It's all going swimmingly and we're getting to meet some really cool people.
Today we're going to create some small messages in multiple languages and put them up in frames for the guests.
One of these days we might have to think about what we're doing for Christmas LOL
