Wine tasting at Mount Vesuvius? Yea please!
Take a tour of the winery and learn about how the volcanic soil affects the wine. But you’ll do more than learn about it, you’ll taste it!! It comes along with three courses and the food is spectacular!
A family run business and a really lovely half day trip easily reachable from Naples or Sorrento.

A few things to know about visiting the Amalfi Coast in winter:
1. It’s just as beautiful!
2. There are hardly ANY people around which is amazing. During high season (which, these days starts in April) it gets absolutely PACKED
3. It’s too cold to swim but you can still go out on boats. If you’re looking for beach time, this ain’t it. But it’s still sunny and beautiful.
4. Lots of things are closed. Because it’s low season there are many places that close. You’ll still find shops, restaurants and accommodations available but there isn’t too much to do. A day trip or coming in for the hikes is recommended since there isn’t much else to do.
But winter is a fabulous time to visit because you’re avoiding crowds and heat- two things I hate the MOST.
Would you d lo Amalfi in winter?

Christmas in Copenhagen! 🎄✨

The salt flats in Bolivia are very well known, but did you know you could head to the north of Argentina for an experience at a fraction of the cost!
The flats are actively in use so you’ll see the various stages of extraction depending on which time of year you come.
Make sure to bring some fun props to get some unique perspective photos!
For more info on visiting this amazing country shoot me a DM or schedule a Discovery call to chat about what else is available!
The altitude is real here though at 3,450m (11,320 ft) so make sure to take it easy.
Special thanks to my OG travel buddy for being the best companion and photographer!

Sleeping on Antarctica was such an adventure!
You must dig yourself a hole, which, to be quite honest, felt like I was digging myself a grave.
You also have to bring a p*e bottle with you because you can’t leave anything behind.
The sun never really sets so it’s ALWAYS light out and you have no tent so you’re just sleeping in a hole.
Then you wake up at around 4 am to fill in your hole (so animals don’t fall down and get stuck) and head out.
And yet, it was one of the most exhilarating and fun adventures I’ve had!!
If I could go back and do it again though, I’d stop drinking water about 2 hours earlier than I did 😂
Would you sleep in Antarctica?
One of the greatest benefits of travel is stepping outside our bubble.
Meeting different people, different cultures, hearing about different experiences - or even the same experience lived completely differently, depending on what color skin you have.
Have conversations. Never stop learning. Never stop asking questions.
Bolivia might have the famous salt flats but Peru’s got a little different style! Just outside of Cusco you’ll find so many interesting places and the salineras are no exception!
An easy half day trip into the beautiful country side. You can also do some off roaring excursions or pair it with a half day trip to see some ruins as well.
So much to do down in Peru!
Tell me you woke up in South America without telling me…. 🤣🦙

So let’s treat it right. Nothing to remind you how beautiful planet Earth is like some hiking in Patagonia!
El Chalten is one of my favorite places in this whole country. So many gorgeous views and so much fresh air.
Where’s your favorite place to hike? What’s on your hiking bucket list?
Anyone else ready for the weekend?!
In Cafayate, every day is the weekend! The perfect escape into the mountains and Argentina’s lesser known wine region for some gorgeous views and delicious wine!
Don’t forget to come hang out with me and tonight at 8 EST/5PCT as we chat about travel and photography and how we can be responsible as we do both!

Grab your co***ne leaves and let’s hit the road!
You heard that right- we’re headed to the Quebrada de Humahuaca in Northern Argentina (Jujuy) where this mountain range 155km (96mi) long gets up to 4,761m (15,620ft).
The coca leaves help with the altitude. But don’t worry, consuming them this way is not only totally legal, but strongly advised.
El Hornacal has many names, one of which being the 14-colored mountain. The pictures really don’t do it justice. I was in complete awe while staring at the natural beauty.
The colors are from various minerals and sediments throughout millions of years where the landscape has changed many times.
And one of the best things about it? While it is set up for some tourism and it is growing in popularity, it’s still relatively quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to not find a mob of people waiting in line for pics.
Make sure to stay tuned for a whole YouTube video on my trip to the north and how you can do it too!

Here are 5 things to know before visiting a Buddhist Temple:
1. Cover your knees and your shoulders. It's really hot, but your swimsuit coverups, tank tops, bro tanks, and things that don't cover you up are for the beaches and the town. Avoid any t-shirts and tanks with Buddhist or Hindu themes and cover any religious tattoos. While you may see tourists wearing them, it doesn't mean you should too.
2. Remove hats, sunglasses, headphones, and shoes before entering
3. Don't point at monks of Budda statues (this goes for feet and hands)
4. Women are not allowed to touch monks or their robes. Set the object on the ground if you must hand something to them and be cognisant if they are giving you something.
5. Do not step on the threshold of the temple, step over it.
We are guests and want to show respect for the beautiful places we're visiting. It's such a lovely privilege to get to visit and share the space!

Pro tip: Find the quiet spots in the big city. The tourist spots are nice but it's the small details of a city that really intrigue me. That's where you get a look deeper into its soul.
It's also just way less stressful....!
What are some of your favorite things to do around cities that aren't written in the guidebooks?

How can we help?
- Cutting back on meat and seafood, even if it's one meat-free meal per day or per week makes a huge difference!
- Talk about it. Get and give inspiration and support to and from others. More people care about it than you think, sometimes we just need to know where to start!
- Vote for people who advocate for the climate
- Find ways to reduce your carbon footprint. It all adds up!
Any little bit counts! Here's what I'm doing:
To start, I will be flying a lot less this year, I've started bringing my food scraps to a community compost station, and I plan to go vegan for a month to see what changes I can make stick and which ones I can give myself a little grace on.

The penguins were cute and all… but seeing whales was so special because you never knew when it would happen or what’d you get. We had some pretty spectacular sightings and I never failed to audibly gasp every single time. There is nothing better than standing out on deck enjoying the views and suddenly hearing a whale’s exhale. Except maybe being on a zodiac and being right next to it. Have you ever seen whales in the wild? What kind and where? Head to my stories and my story highlights for lots of fun facts about whales!
