As a multidisciplinary design set up, The Hygge (pronounced as “heu-gah”) is an emotional narrative that everyone should experience. We at The Hygge believe that design in a broader perspective, is the art of building sanctuary and community, of inviting closeness and paying attention to what makes us feel open hearted and alive. tirring the senses, the heart and the imagination– a way of giving something ordinary a special context, spirit and warmth, taking time to make it extraordinary. To design in ways that evokes meaning , identity that evolves from a place and not from an imposed program. To invent or re-invent the environment we live and work in, be a part of the process to shape the world around us.
