Maple weekend at Mac’s Maple, located in beautiful Plainfield, NH. Join us March 18th & 19th, 10am- 3pm for our annual maple weekend celebration! An experience for the whole family! Enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of spring in New Hampshire.

How many times can you make a stone skip? The world record, according to the Guinness Book of Records, is eighty-eight times! Kurt "Mountain Man" Steiner, at Red Bridge in the Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania in 2013 beat the previous record of sixty-five skips. Sounds amazing! Though you may not achieve record-breaking skips, we consider the numerous lakes and ponds around the Story Homestead to be unmatched. Come stay for a visit and try your hand at stone-skipping!
