3 rides to avoid with your younger and smaller thrill seekers at Universal Orlando Resort. The rides may seem unassuming, but there are content elements that may not be appropriate for younger riders even if they meet the minimum height requirement!
And all the cheer moms said AMEN! This is our first season of competition and it is a MARATHON! You moms with multiple girls on teams, and girls on multiple teams are she-warriors and deserve ALL the vacation days (that aren’t to a comp!) And I’m sure this sentiment can be appreciated by other sports parents too - how are you holding up through these early spring practices of the outdoor sports? Raise your hand if you’re ready for a tropical escape! I got you - message me today and let’s start planning your post-season retreat! #taylorswift #blankspace #couplesescape #luxurytravel #getaway #tropicalvacation #sportsparents #cheermom #competitionseason
Find me on IG @travelin.madelin for my full opinion of our stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs #coronadosprings #disneyhotel #waltdisneyworld #resortamenities
On our recent visit to Walt Disney World we stayed in a preferred room in the Casitas buildings at Disney’s Coronado Springs resort. Would I stay again? Maybe. But only on one condition. I loved that this resort offered all of the deluxe amenities like a fitness center, multiple sit down dining options, an extraordinary pool site and very spacious rooms, but at the much more palatable moderate price point. The room itself was a preferred king room and featured what Disney does best in their deluxe resorts - subtle, understated touches of Disney that you may even miss if you don’t have a keen eye (or a dis-nerd traveling with you!) I loved how spacious the room felt and the ample storage space between the closet, dresser and under bed storage area for suitcases. The oversized shower was very nice, especially after a runDisney morning it was nice to come back and jump in the walk in shower (and not have to lift my heavy running legs!). My only two complaints about Coronado Springs are the same complaints I have about all of the moderate Disney resorts. They are all motel style rooms with the doors facing the exterior hallways. In my opinion, this makes the resorts feel cheap and I sincerely dislike this style of hotel room. I like a window with a view to enjoy my coffee, and not a view of everyone else rushing off to their park day! And finally, it’s just massive. It’s the convention center hotel so the space is to accommodate convention guests without feeling crowded, but after a long park day I don’t want to sit through the internal resort bus loop once we finally make it back to the resort, and I certainly don’t want another 10-15 minute walk back to my room! In conclusion - no, I wouldn’t stay in the Casitas again. If I were to stay at Coronado Springs again, I would only do so if I were staying in the Gran Destino Tower rooms. That’s where you get the real luxury of a deluxe resort at high end moderate pricing. Does this make you more or less like
