Hei hei 2025! 🔥

Godt nytt år, happy new year to all my followers! I appreciate all of you 🥰

I wanted to share some highlights from 2024, but going through my camera reel I realised there were so many I could not even scratch the surface.

Anyways, here's a few photos that defenitely will be remembered as "memorable moments" from last year.

Hopefully 2025 will bring just as many delightful moments. I am truly a lucky man to have both a job and a family that I love, and despite some up and downs I try to enjoy every single day of my life.

All the best wishes for 2025, and thanks for following me on this journey. 🥰

Hei hei! Another Jul (Christmas) celebration in Norway is about to come to an end.

I've been out with a throat infection much of this Christmas, but luckily I'm fully recovered now, and ready to take on 2025 🔥

Anyways, before we move on into the new year I thought we should bid the Nisse farewell. They are an essential part of the Julefeiring (Christmas celebration) here, but for the rest of the year they are packed away in a box, or perhaps living out on a barn 🧐

Hei hei! Christmas is the time for traditions 🎄

1. Decorating the Juletre (Christmas tree)
2. Making home made leverpostei (liver paté)

Advice from a local: When you’re in Norway and it’s cold and dark outside: drink hot chocolate and eat pastry 🥮

Btw. Frognerseteren Restaurant og Kafe got probably the best hot chocolate in Oslo, which you poor yourself and add as much whipped cream as you like (I added a lot) 😋

In addition to that it’s also a very cozy cafe/restaurant!
Get there by riding the metro to the Frognerseteren station (end of line 1) and walk 5 minute downhill through the forest 🌳

Today we celebrate Sankta Lucia (Saint Lucy), the Queen of light who comes to us in the darkest time of the year. 😇

It is said that to vividly celebrate St. Lucy's Day will help one live the long winter days with enough light.

I'm sharing a short video that I filmed inside the Trinity Church in Oslo two years ago. Such a magical experience to see the procession in the early morning. 🤩

I wish you all a good Sankta Lucia day, and that the light will find you as well in a dark December month.

It’s a wrap! Last night we had our annual lutefisk dinner, and as always it did not disappoint 😋

I cook this Norwegian delicacy 😜 every Christmas, and somehow I’m always so surprised how good it can be when it’s well cooked and comes with some tasty side dishes… like plenty of bacon 🥓
