Happy Saturday everyone!! This pic is where I’m at in my mind. Not in this nasty east coast, snowy, confused weather.

I hope you’re all still excited about our trip to Hawaii. Just a quick update. Some people have inquired about group airline flights.

The Flight service is not included in the price of the Hawaii rate. I will start looking for flight information around Mid/late April 2022.

But please don’t wait for me if you are ready to book your flight or find a great deal. You’re transportation to/ from the airport in Hawaii is still included in the rate you have paid. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Happy New Year Squad. Please forgive me for being MIA but LIFE has been twerking on my back like a Luke dancer.

We are still in the background working on finalizing 2022 trips and are brainstorming the 2023 lineup and I will say we plan to have some grown and sexy destinations. I hope everyone is well and gearing up for Sweet Sands and our 2022 DDT Comeback. For those of you traveling with us this year which trips are y’all looking forward to? I’m looking forward to Hawaii, Italy and Maldives. 🌺

My review of Riu All- Inclusive Resort in Bahamas (post pandemic). We had to get a health Visa before checking in at the airport $40 including COVID Related travel insurance. It was a pain but whatever. We were able to use our vaccination card but we also got a COVID test done before traveling just in case. Our health Visa was also checked before we boarded the plane. Our flight was a little over 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Which was great. Going through customs was quick and easy once we landed. The drive to the resort was about 20 to 30 minutes.
Once we arrived at the hotel we were temperate checked at entrance. Check in was cool, the hotel was not too crowded but people are back to traveling and vacationing.

The food was delicious, staff was not at 100% capacity but they were attentive and accommodating.

There were long lines for the reserved restaurants because they had limited capacity. But they also had a buffet.

The resort was very clean but needs some maintenance. They played themselves with the two twin beds pushes together to make a king bed. I sleep very close under my Mr. ♥️ back and my body was sore.

Our room was cleaned daily, there’s no room service due to the restrictions.

The beach was beautiful and soo clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

They had interactive games as well as night time (corney) entertainment.

We were able to catch a cab to go into Nassau to shop and we went to the docking area for the ships. The cruises are about to start back up on July 1st and the residence said that it will get very busy. We also went to Atlantis to the Casino (and Gucci store 😊)

We had to take a COVID rapid test before leaving. They can do a little better with coordinating the test because you schedule dates and times that are months away from your realistic time period just to get your registered information but you just get online to take the test. The lines can be long. We were #2 in line thank goodness we went 1 hour early due to their scheduling mixup.

Overall, I loved the Bahamas and can definitely see myself frequenting there.
