Why I love doing what I do. Seeing clients return from their trip excited to share pictures and adventures from their trip. Most recently a couple's return from their cruise to Alaska. It's always an honor to have been part of their journey. Up coming is a trip to Hawaii, a Viking Cruise, a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer and a trip to Ireland. In the works are a trip to Scotland/Ireland next year and a trip to New Zealand in 2026.

So here it is: What's your dream?

Fishing for thoughts... To see if there would be enough interest...what? you might ask...A possible mission trip to Uganda via a reputable safari organization. If there's enough interest, I'll IM each of those interested with more information.

Boats off in the distance. A Russian family sat down beside me. Very sweet children. She forgot sunscreen so I shared mine and she gave me a tropical fruit in return. There are MANY Russians that vacation and live here. When she said she was from Siberia it made more sense, the most western part of Russia, close to Asia. The shell is a conglomerate, many shells on the beach like that. The view of the temple was the biggest shocker!

A crucial travel tip: I'm reminded daily how important it is to spend the extra for travel insurance. Even flight insurance is all that is needed. I just had a client get in touch with me because she ended up in the hospital and wasn't going to make her return flight. Thank Goodness, she listened and took out the flight insurance through Southwest. She certainly didn't expect to land in the hospital while on vacation, yet here she is/was. Southwest Airlines took good care of her due to the insurance and she was able to change her flight home with no issues.

Hence, my reminder: Get that insurance. You never know.

Travel Tip:( I've been away from this, will start doing a weekly travel tip again)

As a photographer and a person who Loves Travel, this tip is about getting up and getting out there. Getting up and out early beats the crowds, and gets the best light and cooler time of day in hot places. So, get out and get those shots before they are filled with people. Unless, of course, that's your "focus".
