Do you know somebody who is celebrating an anniversary soon ❓

Despite the name, birthdays are anniversaries. However, most people associate the word "anniversary" with marriage.

Some couples also use the word anniversary to celebrate the day they met, and individuals to mark the recovery from a serious illness or accident.

Stars of the West End will descend on the home of Ipswich Town in June for two nights of events.

🗓 June 16th - The team behind the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! will be coming to perform a dazzling concert of ABBA'S iconic music.

🗓️ June 17th - Stars of the hit musical We Will Rock You will come together to present a tribute to Queen, one of the world's greatest rock bands.

The acts will be backed by a West End band featuring dozens of hits - creating 2 unique and great concert evenings no Abba or Queen fan should miss.

Suffolk has many areas of outstanding natural beauty, picturesque high streets and quaint villages.

Lavenham is one of those villages, with wonky cottages and home to the Harry Potter house.

Being around 35 minutes drive from Ipswich, which is where our apartment is located Lavenham is a great place to visit when you are enjoying a short break, midweek or weekend stay in Suffolk.

Here we are at the begining of another week. I don't know about you, but the weeks seem to be whizzing along and before you know it, this year will be drawing to a close. Has anybody started their Xmas shopping yet?

This weekend sees the 2021 St Joseph’s National Schools Rugby Festival. Originally established in 1986, it has now become one of the most prestigious school rugby tournaments in the country.

The 2 day weekend event has become an established date on the calendars and fixture list lists of some the the country’s top rugby-playing schools.

Stone Lodge Apartments is within a short walking distance of St Joseph’s College and we have guests staying in our apartment who have travelled to support their local school team that are taking part in the tournament…

Good luck and have a great time to all the teams participating in the tournament.

How was your weekend and start of the week?

🖇 Mine was busy with paperwork

🚶But I did manage to get out for some fresh air for a walk around Neptune Marina which is within walking distance of Stone Lodge Apartments.

For those of you that have not visited Suffolk before;

With 50 miles of Heritage Coastline, 10 National Trust Locations & Picture Box Villages this makes Suffolk an ideal location for a short midweek or weekend break.

Today is World Mental Health Day

Covid-19 has increased the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure for many people around the world.

Many of us have been so very fortunate not to have lost loved ones or seen the after effects that many people are still fighting with today, after having made it through Covid-19 .

But we all need to give a thought to all of the people that have not been so lucky and how they are struggling with it on a day to day basis both on a mental and emotional level.

If you know someone that is struggling, reach out to them today, be it by a phone call or visit.

We are lucky to have Felixstowe around 20 mins drive away. This is a shot of part of the gardens that are along the seafront. Yesterday was another mild day for us and plenty of people were enjoying a stroll along the seafront.
