A resort day at WDW can be a great way to rest and recharge….a vacation from your vacation! We had the opportunity to visit my brother and sister in law at their timeshare today, and it was just what the doctor ordered! We are now ready to enjoy one final day at our happy place before we head home tomorrow morning! So grateful for this time together. It goes by so fast, so make memories!

Looking to stay at a Deluxe WDW resort but don’t want to break the bank? Don’t sleep on the “resort view” room category. Case in point: our resort view room at the Contemporary has a slight parking lot view to the right of our patio, but our view to the left offers up nonstop action from the water AND the sky! And if you are able to score it at a discount (discount monitoring is one of mu FREE services), it’s even more of a win! All for oftentimes significantly less per night than other room categories, but still all the deluxe perks!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade did not disappoint! It capped off a long, but truly fantastic evening at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! I can’t recommend this separate ticketed event enough with its short wait times, event specific merch, and did someone say cookie crawl??!!

Traditions are everything in our family. One of our favorite summer traditions is having our annual family pictures taken and capturing those priceless WDW vacation memories. There are numerous photographers out there, but if you want the best of the best, look no further than Candi Clark and ! She is a pro and makes the whole experience so much fun!
