🛳️ Cruise Port Spotlight: Juneau, Alaska (Part 1)🌲

This was our second port of call during our 7-day Alaskan Cruise on the Norwegian Bliss. We had no excursions booked here, so we explored the town! When traveling to town, you can either board the complimentary shuttle at the port or take a 20-minute walk.

During our walk along their boardwalk, we came across beautiful totem poles, watched seaplanes take off, and learned about Patsy Ann. 🐾

In the 1930s, ships arriving in Juneau would be met by a small, white dog named Patsy Ann. Although Patsy Ann was deaf since birth, she could sense incoming ships from a half-mile away! She would head to the dock to welcome the new visitors. 💙

Afterward, we headed to the legendary Red Dog Saloon and tried their famous Duck Fart Shot! 🦆This is a layered shot with Kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Cream, and Crown Royal Whiskey. All I can say is WOW! It tasted like a creamy coffee drink and was delicious!

🛳️ Cruise Port Spotlight: Sitka, Alaska 🌲

This was our first port of call during our 7-day Alaskan Cruise on the Norwegian Bliss. We did not have any excursions booked here, so we boarded the complimentary shuttle at the port and took a quick ride to downtown Sitka.

Once arriving, we took a 15-minute walk along the harbor to the Sitka National Historical Park. It offered a stunning trail through the towering spruce trees and totem poles. It was stunning! We were also able to see salmon swimming upriver, which was incredible to watch! 🐟

I highly recommend visiting Sitka National Historical Park in Sitka, Alaska, if it is on your cruise itinerary!

During your next cruise line vacation, I highly recommend decorating your stateroom. This is the perfect way to add an extra special touch to your sailing! ✨

I love to decorate the stateroom before my family arrives for a fun little surprise for any celebration! 🎉

All you need is:
🧲Magnetic Hooks
🎈Party/Celebration Decor

The majority of your stateroom’s walls and ceilings are magnetic, which makes the little magnet hooks perfect for hanging decor! I also use them for hanging my hats, lanyards, accessories, makeup bag, etc throughout my room to provide extra space and organization throughout my stateroom cabin. 💁🏼‍♀️

‼️When decorating your stateroom, please make sure that you do not block the doorway, smoke detectors, access to life vests, view of emergency information, or hang anything from the fire sprinkler. Also, make sure to have clear access throughout your cabin so that your stateroom attendant does not have difficulty cleaning!

Minnie Van Service is a personal ride service that allows you to get around Walt Disney World Resort quickly and comfortably! This service is offered through the Lyft app, which provides an easy way to request and pay for your magical ride.

Here is a step-by-step guide to booking Minnie Van Service:
📲 Step 1: Open the Lyft app and enter your desired destination.
📍 Step 2: Confirm your pickup location and tap the button that is titled “Minnie Van”.
☑️ Step 3: Confirm and pay for your ride.
🗺️ Step 4: Track your Minnie Van on the map.
👋 Step 5: Meet your Minnie Van Cast Member and head off to your destination.
🐭 Step 6: Arrive at your destination. Make sure to tip your driver for a magical ride!

‼️IMPORTANT‼️- Always verify the driver’s license plate and ask who they are picking up before getting into a vehicle, whether you are using Uber, Lyft, or Minnie Van Service! You can never be too safe!
