Travel Tip Tuesday!

Plan to spend a day at the beach, but forgot your sand toys? No worries!

You can find the cutest Nemo beach pails and DCL cruise ship sand toys on Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. The cruise ship opens to perfectly store your shovels and toys. What an adorable souvenir!

We have also purchased collapsible toys online that are easy for packing. Or packing less expensive toys from the dollar bins are perfect to leave behind for the next travelers and free up space in your suitcase.

Pro tip #1: Pack your sand toys in a mesh bag for easy clean up with a few shakes.
Pro tip #2: Pool toys are not allowed in the ship's pools, however they are allowed during your beach days and in private island spaces.

Raise your hand if you have a picky eater! You know the ones... their food repertoire consists of croutons, anything beige in color, a roll, cookies, and maybe a lettuce leaf if you are lucky?

I have my own little caveman at home. While we can appease him with a day full of sugar and cookies (we learned that he loves gingerbread on our last trip! New food group unlocked!), I try to find places on vacation where he will eat REAL food.

Polite Pig is a GEM for parents and kids alike. They have a great kid's menu, the food comes out quickly, and they have cute little pig lollipops if you need extra reinforcement. A perfect quick stop for a shopping day at Disney Springs!

What a GEM! We LOVED Minnie's Beach Bash Breakfast at Cape May Cafe!

Every trip to Walt Disney World we try something new. I had been to Cape May for dinner, but I had never tried the breakfast. We are big fans of character breakfasts at Disney for many reasons, but just to name a few...

First of all, I LOVE not having to stand in line for character meet and greets. This is a HUGE perk of a character breakfast.

Secondly, the signature card is the cutest little souvenir and comes in quite handy when you forget your autograph book. Oops!

Third, I find that my kids tend to eat the best during breakfast. Take note of the smile on my picky eater's face. He was DELIGHTFUL after consuming 2 glasses of orange juice, 5 plates of bacon ( no judgement), and a Mickey waffle. If you have a picky eater, you know!

And that bread! Yum!

If you love dance parties, surfing, Minnie and her gang, and delicious salted caramel "beach buns", you will love Cape May Cafe!

Today is National Chocolate Cake Day! Let's celebrate with a trip to The Cake Bake Shop-

Delight in the sugary smells, whimsical decor, and copious amounts of glitter at The Cake Bake Shop at Disney's Boardwalk Inn.

On our most recent stay, I was not able to dine at the restaurant, but had the pleasure of walking through the bakery and it was delightful. Even the croissants sparkle with glitter!

Have you tried The Cake Bake Shop? It is a MUST-DO on my next visit!

We love one-on-one trips! Our family started taking one-on-one trips when our boys were small to cherish the time with each of them individually.

Both my husband and I have multiple siblings and we valued time with our parents. With our oldest boys being twins, we wanted to have a way to create special moments and memories with each of them. Then when our youngest came along, the need for individualized attention became stronger.
