I hate to keep beating this dead horse, but it’s about Carmen’s Facebook account.

We’ve tried every avenue we can at this point including Facebook.com/h*****d, which is totally useless, and haven’t had any response from Facebook. The account has been reported 100s of times. We’ve had to close our business Facebook account because it was attached to Carmen’s account but luckily I had access to it as well. It’s a nightmare.

Please report & block Carmen’s profile if you’re still friends with him. We have no intention of resurrecting this account, we simply want it closed.

My advice to everyone is to make sure you have all security options in place on your account and never use Facebook as a sign in to anything. I wouldn’t want this mess to happen to anyone else I know. The lack of support is total negligence. Facebook enables the hackers with its policies.

🚌 I was looking through pictures this morning and found some memories of our transition to bus living.

🚌 The first picture is the camper that we thought would be perfect for us to own and travel the country to sell our goods at music festivals in. It featured a tent on top of the camper to stay in when traveling , and a mattress inside. The inside would also be storage for all of our store stuff. There was also an outdoor kitchen and an awning. I believe this was $20,000. We didn’t end up going this route.

🚌 Next we purchased a 4 season tent with a wood stove inside. We took this tent on our first trip to Florida and ended up living in it for 6 months. Living in this tent made me realize I didn’t need a huge house filled with things that I didn’t even miss. During this time we found our bus.

🚌 We ended up purchasing our bus in Homestead Florida about 10 minutes away from where we were staying. Alice was yellow with 22 seats. Best decision we made!

🚌 Here we are 4 years after the original thoughts of buying that camper. We’ve lived in Alice for 2.5 years and still love every day of being on the road. We ended up spending less than we would’ve for the camper, and she’s way more comfortable!

🚌 We meet people every day while we’re traveling, and most people state that this is their dream but there’s no way they could do it. I encourage them to try. Living small is so very freeing.

Stayed on State forest land in the Catskills for the past 10 days. We had no cell phone coverage while there, so we got tons of work done! It was kinda awesome.

We’re in travel mode, so it’s quick overnights along the route. Last night we ended up parked under the huge sign at Cracker Barrel which made Alice look so small.

We’re on our way to The Peach music FESTIVAL this weekend to help out some friends who are vending and to enjoy some great music instead of working our own booth.

Here’s a new one for us….. first time in almost 2 years on the road we had someone drive by the bus and yell “F*** you Hippies”. Naturally we chased him down, dressed him in tie dye & sprayed him with patchouli. Maybe add some crochet & a leather hat too…. Lol. But luckily we really never run into this type of harassment. People in general are very welcoming & curious about our lifestyle.

We’re just leaving New Martinsville, WV & Backhome Festival. It’s a pretty cool festival held right in the downtown area of the city. It turned out to be a pretty good event for us do we’ll definitely be back next year!

Spent the afternoon doing a tour of the West Virginia State Penitentiary in Moundsville, WV. This place was plenty creepy and just mind blowing that it was in operation for over 100 years with such crammed conditions. Some of the cells had 3 people in the 5x7x7 cell. This is also a hotbed of paranormal activity due to either the violence at the facility or the ancient burial mound across the street. It was a pretty interesting stop for the day.

One of the many reasons we prefer life on the road is so we can stop and explore interesting and historic places on our travels. It’s almost an everyday occurrence.

Having a little tourist adventure at the Leetonia Beehive Coke Ovens. There are over 200 of these ovens built into the hillsides in this area. They’re kinda creepy looking when you look inside.

Our little front yard @ Cracker Barrel in Rootstown, Ohio . We stayed there for a night before the last festival. We love shopping in the store and having breakfast there before hitting the road again!

Remember to support the business if you’re gonna overnight in their lot! We always see lots of rigs come in late and leave early….. don’t ruin a good thing!

Stopped by Daddy Mac’s BBQ while in Asheville to try their Bar-B-Cue-Terie board . It’s basically a taste of everything popular in their menu. Definitely worth ordering!!!

Stopped by for a beer and food at in Old Fort. Played a guess this beer game with the bartender on a mystery flight and Michelle got 4/5 right. This place has great beer in a variety of different styles. Definitely worth a stop at any of their 3 locations.

We stopped with our fellow traveler & good friend April at Midway BBQ in Buffalo, SC for some delicious food. This place is kinda iconic, with old fashioned recipes and over 70 years in business. Definitely worth a stop!

This is one of the scariest years of my life promoting. Since 1996 this is 27 years and I don’t want to join the 27 club for Pyro. We have the opportunity to continue and I need your help. I was ready to run, to hide because of how heavy my last year has been.
I lost a good brother of mine.
We had a very serious injury with Geronimo.
Reconnection asked me to move my date and I easily just said ok as it was early and I thought by announcing my old stomping grounds the ledges would not put their festival right over top of mine but that happened.
Big slap is the ledges are making very close friends sign a contract that if they vend at my festival they will not be allowed to vend there even when they can be at more than one event a weekend. Maybe that might change??? Sure would be nice!!!
So I need everyone’s help as this year is critical for this grassroots festival to survive.
We have a lot of work to do in the next 5 weeks and with everyone’s help this can be one of the most significant festivals for us to come together and share our time together as we do at Pyro with each other, the First Nations, the musicians, workshops and art installations…
This one is for all of us underdogs, the ones who have the challenges and strength to overcome with the help of each other.
Every year you ask me how I do this without sponsors and that answer is with you, i couldn’t do this without you!!!!

Hanging out in Macon, GA tonight and decided to great ourselves to a stop at Fall Line Brewery and .

I had shrimp & grits which is one of my favorite meals and they had some outstanding ones!! Carmen had the Cajun pasta with chicken and it was equally delicious.

One of our favorite things to do while visiting a new city is treat ourselves to some local food, not chains. We’ve never spent much time in Georgia, it’s always a pass thru state in our way to and from Florida. We’re glad to be able to spend a little time here. Off to Atlanta next for Inman Park festival this weekend.

We spent last week at Juniper Springs, it’s so beautiful there! We don’t pay to stay very often, but every once in awhile we treat ourselves. The swimming area is so pretty, turquoise water and dark green plants in the bottom. It’s so clear you can see everything. The woods are a lush oasis, with lots of walking trails to explore. It’s unfortunate that a lot of the trails are closed because they’re no longer being maintained. There’s a bunch of old CCC pavilions that are also closed and off limits, the park should really be be trying to restore. I love all the old buildings built by the CCC, it’s a shame to let them decay.
