What to do when you're in the van and there's torrential rain... we bake... and make up a recipe with bits and pieces in the fridge and cupboard 🤣
Welcome chocolate muffins made with almond flour, coconut sugar and cocoa 😋

We just found out what's the worst thing about towing a caravan today.
To avoid going Sydney, we opted to drive through tolls as it would be the quickest and most comfortable option for the whole family BUT definitely not the cheapest option.
As we are travelling with our caravan in tow they class us as we are classed as a Heavy Commercial vehicle. We did NOT know this? Did you??

On 10 March 2022, we celebrated two things.
Glenn's birthday 🎂 🥳
and
Leaving on this journey we now call life...
with a 22ft van, a one year old and two dogs in tow.
We could never have imagined the things we have seen and the places we have experienced if we worked a 9-5 job and received a full time salary. Rachel was working full time with Isla at home full time and Glenn was working 6 days a week just to keep us afloat.
So we said NO to the system.
We chose to live... yes, we still work but not as much and not as hard. We choose when we work, who we work for and where we work. That's the beauty of the lifestyle we have chosen for us and our family.
Two years down... Plenty more to come. And oh how we have grown in this time.
Couldn't be more proud of us 😊

After a fortnight of sickness and two days of non-stop rain, we decided to head out to Erskine Falls (10km from Lorne).
The videos don't show the ferocity of the water. It had incredible force.
It was good to get some fresh air and be out in nature again but the amount of tourists did take away from the serenity.
More of this please 🙏
