The Big 🍎 right here in Oz... more impressive we reckon 😜

The things you unexpectedly see when travelling but bring kids the most joy 🤗

One year ago today, we were lucky enough to spend some time on their 28,500 acre farm, which has been in the family for 145 years.

Glenn learnt on the job how to muster sheep for crutching... some 400 head on his own through the red dirt of outback NSW in 40 degree heat 🥵

We can't thank Angie and Mike enough for the opportunity to experience living in an 1800s worker's cottage.

The mineral pool that you see us enjoying is attached to the accommodation suites that are available to stay in, which were built after receiving a tourism grant.

Who's keen to see a video of our time time there?

We spent the last three weeks travelling up the South Coast NSW and this is how we ended it, walking out to the SS Merimbula shipwreck.

Not much of the 1928 wreck is left but still amazing to see.

We are now completing a housesit in the Southern Highlands where we are enjoying staying in a converted barn.

Then back to Queensland for Easter 🐣

This sand. This water. Lake Tabourie and Lake Conjola have impressed us beyond words. Enough said.

Tura Beach Rockpool and Haycock Point in Beowa National Park blew us away literally.

What's more impressive is that the vibrant red rock of Haycock Point was formed approx. 370 million years ago.

The Sapphire Coast is simply impressive and we cannot wait to keep exploring over the coming days.

We have stumbled upon the most amazing EVER... hands down.

Our own private campsite on the Yowaka River with a short stroll to the Nethercote Falls - the beauty of this place has taken our breath away and will for years to come.

Up early this morning for hike to the big drift. What an amazing place. With views of Wilson's prom mountains, the ocean and rolling hills. Photo's can't do it justice. If you're ever down this way. Check it out. 😊

Hampton Park, an amazing 15 minutes from Warrnambool.

This was our last getaway in the rooftop tent in this region.

It was hot, humid with a storm rolling through that afternoon but we finally had a chance to fly Isla's kite which she got for Christmas.

We stayed two nights and had the place to ourselves for most of the stay.

It's dog and family friendly with an awesome old school playground and two storey cubby house. The owner was even kind enough to show us their organic veggie and share with us some of their greens 🙏

Up there with one of the best private camps we've been to!

An afternoon at the ⛱️ where all the stars aligned:

💥 we both weren't working
💥 it wasn't the weekend = less people
💥 Summer finally arrived in Victoria
💥 warm enough to go in the 💦
💥 we were able to try out Isla's Christmas presents for the first time
💥 we were dog-less

We had an absolute ball today at and it's safe to say the 🌻 enjoyed it too 🤣

After a fortnight of sickness and two days of non-stop rain, we decided to head out to Erskine Falls (10km from Lorne).

The videos don't show the ferocity of the water. It had incredible force.

It was good to get some fresh air and be out in nature again but the amount of tourists did take away from the serenity.

More of this please 🙏

You won't hear much Christmas cheer from us today as we have spent the last week all struck down by the worst flu 🤧 so we must reminisce about the last three years instead... Merry Christmas to you all 🎄 🎅
