Have you ever wanted to try train travel? "Come With Me" trip on the Empire Builder journey onboard the Texas Eagle, June 4-12, 2025. But hurry.. There are only 1 bedroom and 3 roomettes left on this trip. The trip can be modified with different levels of hotels and excursions during stops but 3 nights at the Glacier National Park Lodge is so exciting.

Thank you to Tyler Area Builders Association (TABA) for allowing me to sponsor the February 2025 After Hours. New supplier partnerships and different styles of travel were introduced to the group. For 2025, the focus of Blenda's Travel Escapades is on domestic adventures for "Come With Me" adventures. However, these trips aren't just for TABA members- they are open to all! With carefully curated itineraries, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, making the most of each destination. Join us on two remarkable train journeys and let the tracks guide you to your next big adventure!

The first train journey is on the Rocky Mountaineer "Rockies to the Red Rocks", May 1-2, 2025. The train travels from Moab, Utah to Denver, Colorado for 2 days with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs. There's flexibility to include extra nights at Salt Lake City or Las Vegas, the nearest airports, prior to embarking the train. You can also visit 5 National Parks on the drive to meet the train in Moab. This is a great short trip to see if train travel appeals to you!
