We are constantly trying to improve our properties, weather it’s landscaping, having the property re wired, getting energy efficient appliances, or new hot water tanks. You name it it’s probably been done to our Park Side Cabin. Now after an undisclosed amount of time the cabin is finally getting a new roof! Income from our bookings on Airbnb and Vrbo is how we are able to improve our properties! Next up efficient windows…..

We have two properties that we host on Airbnb and Vrbo. Both are located in small towns so we never expected to have our guests travel from far away. But after only hosting for 2 1/2 years we have been blown away by how far our guests have come from. Our guests have came from all over the US, South Africa, Lithuania, Spain and the Netherlands. We love sharing properties with others and showing them what our small towns have to offer.

The River Cabin is one of our favorite local destinations but, seasonal flooding is something we can’t control. So glad our guests are understanding when we have to change their reservations. *Pictures from our dock cam show how fast the water can rise in just a few days.*
