Find the gaps in the rock, put your foot in it, hold yourself well and climb up!! That is all about irshalgad if you are seeking to be on an easy level rock patch!
Here is a small glimpse of fun that it was while climbing Irshalgad! It becomes more thrilling as you go upwards, unfortunately we don't have good quality content of that part!
Featuring in the video is our mate
All being said and done, it was one memorable trek for sure!

Who wishes to hike to a place like this?!!
With lockdown as good as lifted and winter about to come, how many of you are planning to travel?
Maybe typical tourism could involve risk, but going on a hike to places which anyway don't have much crowd up there could be something interesting to do!
Do let us know your views on this, and your upcoming plans ofcourse!!

A follow up on my previous post!
Located nearby to the beautiful monsoon river just at the foothills of malshej in the last post is this random lake full of waves!! As you can see in the video, it has waves just like some beach😛
The water was little warm because it was a sunny day but the scenery around was much more beautiful than whatever is captured in the video!😍
Do comment whether you like to places and your experience doing that!

Travel is incomplete without the local food, and when it comes to Konkan the list of delicious delicacies runs rather too long!
Konkan has abundant cultivation of coconut, cashew, jackfruit among other things. And not to forget, this is the mainland from where we get our Alphonso mangoes! They say mango is the king of all fruits and Alphonso is the king of all mangoes!!
Seafood is a big heartthrob of people here! However in this post only the vegetarian dishes are featured, all of them prepared and clicked by search her profile for recipe!
1: Solkadhi- prepared with coconut milk
2: Modak- somewhat momos made of rice flour with sweetened coconut stuffing
3: phansachi bhaji (jackfruit)
4: Ambyacha sandhan- includes Alphonso mango pulp!

On our Dapoli trip as mentioned in #3 post, we also visited this place named Harne ba**er which is nothing but a huge wholesale fish market in the region! Well frankly this is nowhere close to a tourist spot but for someone who likes to explore, it holds a lot of educational value for sure!
You could see a lot of fishing trawlers and those kind of ships in the sea upto the horizon! The market has various kinds of sea life at sale, or maybe a few not for sale as it appeared (I don't know whether people eat stingreys or whatever multi-legged creature it is in 3rd image).
If anyone reading this knows anything about these fish or various creatures captured here, feel free to share about them in the comments!! @ Harne Bandar

These pics date back to May, 2013 when we had a fun filled close family trip to Dapoli and places near it! Back then we didn't have a smartphone and the cameras were hardly 1 or 2 mp, so don't get bothered by the photo quality!
We stayed at this wonderful resort in Ladghar, which was situated just adjacent to the beach, as you can figure out from the photos! The management of this place was quite 'gharguti' (homely), just like most of the hotels as well as restaurants in Konkan region! Many would like the professional managements of multi star hotels, however staying in a less explored place where it was all pitch dark after sun down is a different kind of fun altogether! A pure rural feel!
I have no idea how this place would be now after 7 plus years, but I would definitely suggest this as a go to place for all those who love to explore new places instead of the typically famous ones!
P.S: You will simply fall in love with the food here!😋

Konkan is a land filled with greenery and red soil and accompanied by a long coastline! These two beautiful clicks are from two different places; the waterfall is clicked from train near Ratnagiri, whereas the second image is from Kankavli, both situated in Konkan!

International Tigers Day!
Because one of the most feared species is feared of getting extinct!
Today most of the tigers of the world have no freedom, yes you read that right! Most of them are either caged or 'entertaining' in zoos or circuses!
Yet, tiger is definitely one animal which is as strong as a lion but is far more graceful! No wonder why we made it our national animal of India!♥️

challenge accepted from
They say what is the 'challenge' in it, but for a page co-founded by a group of friends who has no single photo in which all of them are captured in one frame, this is definitely a challenge 😂
Being the 'handler' of this page and having received this from my own bestie, I took the liberty of uploading my solo pic instead 😂
In frame : (swipe for original photo)
Apparently this is taking rounds as some campaign probably, but as rightly pointed out by (check her post) it should be more like as neither do we understand the 'gender angle' in this🤷🏻‍♂️ And anyway in the end we all are one species, no point in differentiating the two and looking at them separately in gender neutral activities. Being done with gyan😂, I further nominate

WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY
Yet another day when we do social media campaigns about saving nature (cz I wonder how much of this really converts into change in our activities)
If we pay attention, a keen attention, to the way the nature functions, we would know that everything here is inter dependent! Birds and animals cannot survive without plants, plants cannot survive without rich soil, soil cannot be rich without putting organic content back into it! Yet somehow the human activities suggest that we have lost this sense that we need to maintain this delicate balance for our own survival, let alone other species!
Well, here is this World Nature Conservation Day to remind us about it!
Even if you are world's richest and most powerful person, your experience of life cannot become rich unless there is rich soil, clean air and potable enriching water for you! Think about this!

Ancient Indian architecture is so majestic that it is second to nothing! It involves aesthetically crafted buildings with a scientific touch and attractive carvings! Though these buildings are not made up with strong and modern materials like cement and steel, they are very sturdy and strong! Infact they require minimum maintenance as compared to modern buildings which are largely glass boxes.
Presenting before you one such lovely piece of architecture, the Sun temple at Modhera, Gujarat! Currently this temple is in ruins following invasions somewhere in 11th century and is reduced just to a tourist place!

Vivekananda Rock Memorial
The great Indian yogi, Swami Vivekananda is said to have attained enlightenment on this rock in Kanyakumari! Also according to the local legends, it was on this rock, Goddess Kumari performed tapas and left her body in devotion to Lord Shiva and hence the city is named as 'Kanyakumari'!

On this auspicious eve of presenting before you the most powerful space visited by me, the Isha Yoga Centre, Coimbatore!
By powerful what I mean is you cannot simply miss the bliss that is present in this place! You don't need to be a yogi or an enlightened being to feel this!
Designed by various yogic programmes are conducted in this place, having helped millions of people take charge of their well being in their own hands!
