We know it's still the middle of August, but we're already one week into Mickey's Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party 🎃 at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. This is a separately-ticketed event, but it is our absolute favorite in-park extra. You get to trick-or-treat in the park, see beloved characters in their own special costumes, and, of course, the Boo to You Parade. 🛎️ Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced their new season of 2026 spring/summer itineraries and it includes nearly 250 itineraries!
But the big news means Ahoy, Philly! 🚢 Norwegian also announced that starting April 16, 2026, they'll be the first to set sail from Philadelphia, with epic voyages to Bermuda, Canada, and New England. What a great addition to the East Coast!

The new Lightning Lane policies go into effect today at Walt Disney World! If you're not up to speed on the changes to Disney's lower wait time line system, we're here to help. We've got all the info to make your trip as effortless as possible.
🚨 Beginning today, guests visiting Walt Disney World will have the option to secure some of their must‑do attractions and experiences in advance with Lightning Lane passes, allowing them to plan with more confidence and greater convenience. 🚨

Guests may also purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for some of the most popular attractions—those not available with Lightning Lane Multi Pass (purchase up to two per day).

So it's definitely a change from the recent Genie+ product but is very similar to the old FastPass+ pre-arrival ride reservation system that some travelers are familiar. We plan on sending information to our clients with reservations with this information so stay tuned!

We spent Mr. LaBo's 40th birthday in another favorite place of ours - Seattle! 🚀 Our very good friends live there so we hung out at their house, played games with their kids aka our godsons, picked 5 pounds of blueberries 🫐, read at a Starbucks Roastery (an elevated version of our favorite shop), and did some work and more reading and more eating - dim sum, seafood and all things blueberry of course! Sometimes trips don't need to be flashy to be rejuvenating - this was one of them!

🚨 New Cruise Ship Announcement! 🚨 Disney Parks recently announced a new agreement with Oriental Land Co., Ltd. (OLC) that will bring year-round Disney cruise vacations to Japan!
Under a recently signed agreement, OLC will operate a Disney-branded cruise business in Japan, expected to begin by early 2029. This is the latest evolution in the relationship - did you know that company actually is the one that owns and operates the magical Tokyo Disney Resort? 🏯
A new Disney cruise ship, a sister ship to the popular Disney Wish, will feature many guest-favorite venues and experiences from that ship with select modifications specially designed with Japanese guests in mind. We are so excited to see this new Disney vacation experience come to life!

We love booking travel for our clients but we love booking our own travel, too! Team LaBo is headed back to Orlando in the fall, but this time, we're going to spend some time at Universal Studios! We're going to tour the parks, stay at one of their on-site hotels, and even take a visit to their water park, Volcano Bay, to see how awesome it is in person! 🌊

Oh my, we had so much fun on our family trip to Walt Disney World earlier this month! It was so hard to choose just a few photos to highlight...
🌺 We stayed at our favorite resort ever, the Polynesian Villas, in a deluxe studio room. So much room to spread out, great location in the resort (walkable to the pools and the transportation) and such a great theme!
🍽️ SO.MUCH.DINING. We did a sit down restaurant each day which might have a bit too much! Hah! We ate so much good food though, including breakfast with the princesses inside Cinderella Castle. So much fun!
💦 We were lucky to join an Annual Passholder preview of the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure Ride (the old Splash Mountain!) and boy was it awesome! We loved the theming.
🎆 We spent a ton of time at the resort, and saw the Happily Ever Fireworks (Jessica's FAVORITE) a number of times from the beach and then the pool. They pipe in the music and it's so amazing to watch this show, even if you don't see the castle projections. I cried anyway.

Don't worry... it's fewer than 100 days until we're back there for a conference and a bit of Universal Studios adventuring!
