Instead of awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, the children of Italy wait for the eve of the Epiphany (12th day of Christmas). This night brings a visit from La Befana, the good-natured witch who climbs down the chimney to fill their socks with handmade gifts and treats.

It is said that, year after year, La Befana wanders the countryside in search of the Gesu Bambino, or baby Jesus, leaving handmade gifts for good children in his honor.

My name is Brooke Todd, and I am a wife, mother, and middle school teacher! I have a love of all things Disney, and I want to use that enthusiasm and knowledge to help build the best trip possible for you! I have been to Disney numerous times since my first trip in 1983 including my honeymoon trip, trips with my son when he was a baby and then a toddler, small trips with my parents and son, and trips with a large group of my in-laws (which included several kids, parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents)! We have stayed at almost every resort on Walt Disney World’s property, have eaten at many of the restaurants on site, and experienced many things on our many trips; however, there’s always something new to discover. I have been helping friends and family plan Disney trips for the past several years, and now I’m ready to help you!
