⌛️1999: Exactly five years after the grounding of the Skyway at Disneyland, the Skyway at Florida's Magic Kingdom carries its last guest. It had been a popular attraction ever sinceWalt Disney World first opened in 1971. Technically two attractions—Skyway to Fantasyland and Skyway to
Tomorrowland, the Skyway was built by Von Roll of Bern, Switzerland, which built similar sky rides for over 100 amusement parks, theme parks, and exposition grounds (including Disneyland)

I can smell Disney’s Grand Floridian Gingerbread house from here! 😋🎄

✨Originally debuting in 1999, this will be the lifesize Gingerbread House's 25th year on display. The house is adorned with white chocolate, candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and 25 hidden Mickeys.✨

💚The best part? Within the display itself treats are served and available for purchase!
Operating hours for the Grand Floridian Resort Gingerbread House are 9am to 9:30pm daily!

The Osborne lights arrive on Walt Disney World property for the very first time!

Trucked in from Osborne's home in Arkansas (in four 18-wheel Mayflower Moving Vans), three teams of
technicians will work 'round the clock for three weeks straight to get the lights up along Residential Street at
Disney-MGM Studios!

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights would officially premiere on November 24, 1995!

Unfortunately, we saw the last of this treasure in 2016. However, it was our absolute FAVORITE Disney holiday tradition! Did you get to see the dancing lights?? 🎄❤️💚
