One good deed deserves... a RIO! 🍴🥩🍷

After learning how Andrew Ross, the talented guide behind Walking with the Ghosts of Durham, donated his time to help raise £800 for a local homelessness charity, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse - Durham decided he deserved a special treat.

Acknowledging his efforts, Zal and Lewis from the management team at Rio 'stepped up to the plate' and gifted Andrew a £100 gift certificate for him to use within their restaurant on Walkergate Durham.

It's great to see businesses recognising and rewarding acts of kindness and community service. Great work, team Rio!

For those who are superstitious or have triskaidekaphobia today is not a good day.
But where did it originate,
Well with all superstitions there are a few places.
First it is said that at the last supper there was Jesus and 11 disciples however later Judes joins the party making 13 people and he was the who betrayed Jesus.
Second there's the Norse story of the 12 Norse gods having a party.
Loki was not invited and so gate crashed the party causing his usual mischief.
He talked Hoor into shooting Balder with a ivy tipped arrow Balder died causing misery in the world.
Or may it was because of King Philip IV of France and his order in friday 13th October 1307 for the rest of the Knight templars.
So which ever one it is please be careful today, and if you see a man with a rocky mask on RUN.
