We have a habit of visiting favorite bars of ... in Key West, Miami, New Orleans... and now Barcelona, Spain! is one of the city's most historic cocktail spots. Hemingway, in particular, enjoyed the absinthe. It was also a favorite spot for Dali, Picasso, and Gaudi!

True story - we were seated at the bar at Paradiso in Barcelona... one of the top speakeasies in the world. We asked the mixologist about the secret interior room we've heard about. He proceeds to list off other speakeasy bars in the city. We said, "No, we mean the back room here." He replied with a smile, "Oh, I understood the question..."
A few minutes later he came back and said he had two seats for us and to follow him.
We finished our visit in the speakeasy room inside the speakeasy, where the mixologist made fantastic cocktails based on our taste.
We won't spoil the secret here... but this is our for Barcelona!

We visited Munich for the real deal in 2018 and we keep coming back every year for Schulz Brau's annual celebration!

You know we love good whiskey and bourbon, but it's not often we get to try a brand as it enters the market and before it takes off locally.
Thanks to , we enjoyed a tasting and launch party for in Knoxville!
Beverly Spirits is based in Los Angeles and is found in places like and .nyc and now at PKL!
Both the high rye and reserve were fantastic neat and the rye made a great Old Fashioned and Manhattan (we tried both...)
We also enjoyed the conversation with CEO and founder Andrew Borenzweig and the local reps.
Keep an eye out for these bottles!
