Worlds biggest waves: Nazaré, Portugal.
Nazare owns the world record for the biggest waves ever surfed. The oficial record as been taken by that surfed a 24m wave back in November 2017.

The best spot to observe this waves is at the top terrace of The fortress ofSao Miguel Arcanjo between nazare beach and praia do norte. The fortress is open everyday from 10am to 5.30pm

Here we are ending a great tram tour with Irish, Indian and Australian guests, next to the Central Railway Station, a beautiful and important landmark in Helsinki. You can see the clock tower of the station under a different light in the 2nd and 3rd picture. Did someone say Gotham City? :))

Saint Mark's Square

Saint Mark's Square itself is stunning and it is hard to overstate the impression it makes on the visitors.

The square (the piazza) is large and surrounded by beautiful porticoes, making it look like an elegant living room and one of the most beautiful piazzas in Italy.

Saint Mark's Basilica (San Marco’s Basilica) overlooks it and has a facade so peculiar in its colors and shapes that you have to look twice to make sure it is real and not a vision!

The church is the perfect mix of oriental and Italian shapes and mixes domes with elaborate arches and delicate carvings. It is considered one of the most important examples of Italo-Byzantine style and it is indeed unique.

Mezarlarına dıştan baktığımızda bazıları tapınak mimarisinde, bazıları da ev mimarisinde yapılmış. Hatta ve merdivenlerle mezarlara ulaşım var. Yani sanki bir yerleşim yeri gibi tasarlanmışlar.

İç mimarileri evlerin yatak odasını taklit ediyor. Mezar odaları çoğunlukla üç yataklı. Kaya mezarlarının orta ve üst sınıfın mezarları olduğu, seçkinlerin korunaklı akropoliste, geri kalan halkın ise eteklerinde yaşadığı anlaşılıyor.

Mezarların bazılarında içinde yatan aile fertlerinin kabartmaları var. Mezar kabartmaları sanki aile albümü gibi.

Bu mezarların yüzeyleri kırmızı, sarı, mavi ve renklerle boyanmış. Renkler günümüze ulaşmamış tabi.
