Fabulous to hear how Liz & Iain had such an amazing time in Kenya. They visited the Masai Mara and Laikipia near Mount Kenya and had some amazing sightings. They saw the birth of a topi whilst a jackal tried to steal the baby (unsuccessfully) and a zebra who had narrowly escaped a crocodile being put out of its misery by a cunning lioness. And much much more.

Zambia is renowned for its scenery as well as its wildlife. Famed for walking safaris, we can’t wait to take our clients there next year.
This is national park and we will start our adventure here at Kakuli Camp.

This scene is from an incredible morning on safari with as our guide whilst staying at Vumbura Camp.
This magnificent male lion put on quite a show for us and this later, calmer moment just had to be put down on canvas!

We spotted this leopard sitting in a tree quite close to camp. We watched her quietly for some time as noticed she wasn’t completely relaxed. Suddenly a cub appeared and followed her down the tree showing some great skills already. Lucky us!

SOUTH AFRICA. Our clients are about to visit The Timbavati Private Nature Reserve - part of the Greater Kruger National Park. They are staying here at Tanda Tulu which offers just nine fully “off grid” canvas and glass suites set along a riverbed, overlooking the peaceful but endlessly entertaining landscape.

Game drives, guided walks, tracking, birding, star-gazing, gym, spa and locally sourced food.

After their safari our honeymooning clients relaxed at the island retreat of Benguerra in a protected marine reserve off the coast of Mozambique.
Here you can ride or swim with horses, snorkel, scuba dive, paddle board, kayak, whale watch and more.

How lucky are our latest clients! They had only just set off from the landing strip for their first night at Vumbura Plains in Botswana when they spotted this beautiful leopard relaxing in a tree. Even the branches curve to frame the photograph perfectly.

This delightful multi-generational group of 14 recently had a fantastic time on an Ambarii safari to Tanzania, Kenya & Rwanda. Whilst visiting Ngorongoro crater in Tanzania they stayed at Entamanu Camp, right on the rim of the spectacular crater which shelters a huge concentration of wildlife.
They told us the memories they made will stay with them forever and they would love to safari again with us.

Our clients in Zimbabwe are now at Chikwenya Camp set in Mana Pools (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)
The camp has just seven light & airy tents set in a shady grove. The camp is situated where the Zambezi & Sapi rivers meet.
Guests can adventure out into the wilderness by land (on foot or by safari vehicle) or by boat/canoe for exciting game sightings or fishing for tiger fish. Get in touch if this appeals.

A disability or mobility issues needn’t hold you back on safari. We saw first hand what is possible when we accompanied a disabled client to Botswana earlier this year. As someone who spends much of his time in his chair, he had a comfy seat in the 4WD vehicle with a front row view of the action. Qorokwe - what a fabulous name for a fabulous camp. It means ‘the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water’. Situated in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, between two permanent rivers, it is a wildlife haven. This camp is contemporary in design and has a wonderful calm feel about it. There are just 8 tented suites + a family unit with its own splash pool. Food is locally sourced and seasonal. Wild dogs (or painted wolves) are critically endangered so to see a large pack of 14 was very exciting. But when a large elephant started trumpeting and chasing them away it was a wow moment! They had just hunted successfully and were covered in blood. Our clients at Jao Camp were keen to see hyenas. We had only had a glimpse of a tiny cub hidden in the undergrowth (see last photo) until we spotted a fully grown pair out in the open on the clients’ last day. We abandoned our lion quest to follow them and were rewarded when they came quite close and we could see that one had lost his tail recently.
