Those Disney balloons are adorable and your kiddos will probably ask for one, but make sure you don’t buy that balloon if you’re planning to park hop to Animal Kingdom. In order to keep the animals safe, Animal Kingdom is a no balloons allowed zone. You don’t want to get to the gate of AK and have to get rid of that balloon your little one was so excited to have. Many people will tie a balloon on their stroller to mark it. This also won’t work for your AK day. You’ll need to leave that balloon at your resort and find a different way to ID your stroller when you’re headed to AK.

Filler attractions usually have shorter lines and are easy to use to still have fun and get things done during your downtime.

Looking for Lightning Lane tips for AK? You might be surprised by what you’re about to hear.
1. This is a park you might not even need Genie Plus for. There are really only 3-4 rides that you might have to wait for in this park so this could be a day when you save a little by not purchasing Genie Plus.
2. If you purchase Genie Plus here, I would book your LL in the order of:
1. Navi River - This ride is beautiful and while not the most exciting ride, everyone should ride it at least once. The line for this attraction can be very be of the longest in AK.
2. Safari - this experience will be one you won’t find in any other theme park. The line can be long and hot. This one won’t go as fast as Navi River and can still save you a lot of time.
3. Meeting Mickey - If you want to meet Mickey and Minnie in their safari gear, you will want to grab that LL. Their line can get long and this meet and greet may close early.
Other good LL’s for this park are Everest, Dinosaur and the Lion King show.

Going on a Disney cruise?? When you’re packing that suitcase make sure you pack at least two swimsuits for each member of your crew. Here’s why:
1. There are lots of opportunities to be in the water while on your cruise. You don’t want to have to miss out on these or purchase a suit in the ship if something should happen like a strap breaking.
2. You may be in the water multiple times in one day and you suit would not be able to dry between trips to the pool. No one likes putting on a a cold, wet swim suit so bring that second one and you can rotate.

Using the dining plan with Mobile Order? Be Careful!
Did you know that the app will default to using your dining and snack credits? This could mean that if you add a bottle of water to your quick service meal, that water will take your snack credit. You don’t want to miss out on a snack because you grabbed an extra bottle of water or side of cheese. So make sure when you are ordering that you uncheck using those snack credits if you are adding something extra to your meal.

All day park hopping is back! We are so excited for this change and it really does make those park hopper tickets a better value BUT if you want to park hop early be prepared that you will need to use something other than the bus before 10a.m.
If you’re hopping between Magic Kingdom and Epcot, use the monorail. Between Epcot and Hollywood Studios, use the Skyliner. If you’re hopping outside of those you will need to drive or Uber.

Through the My Disney Experience app you can mobile order your food from quick service locations. This way you don’t have to stand in long lines waiting to order and then waiting for food. Just pull up the MDE app find where you want to order from and place your order. You can pick the time your crew wants to eat and then tell the app when you’re ready to pick up your food. This way you can continue to be on the go and enjoying the magic while your food is being prepared.

Did you know that every Disney park has a first aid station? You’ll have access to medical personnel and you’ll be able to get basic first aid or medication items like Advil, or Band-Aids. So if you find yourself in the parks with an unexpected scrape or an annoying and pain head toward the first aid station to get the help you need and get back to your magical day.
