Rare short stay availability at this riverside cottage on the River Severn.

Superb fishing for barbel, chub, bream, Zander and pike right from the cottage deck.

Following two night slots available at £230/night plus £50 cleaning fee and a refundable security deposit of £100. Dogs welcome at £25/dog/stay.

Cottage accomodates up to 8 people in two doubles, three singles and a sofa bed. Everything is included - linen, towels, logs etc.

Great day on the river yesterday. The fishing is tough at the moment as it’s so unusually low and clear for this time of year but the stunning surroundings and wildlife are all you need to be honest. Small baits and exploring the river were the order of the day and we managed to get some chub, trout, a personal best grayling for me, and right at last knockings, my brother had a couple of stunning barbel.

Let’s see what today holds before we head home

Just back from an amazing stay at Opal lake lodge in Shropshire. Private lake all to yourself and the most amazing off grid lodge. Full info below: Private lakeside lodge in rural Shropshire sleeping up to 4 guests Secluded and mature lake which is entirely yours to fish (room for up to 3 anglers in your group with 6 rods in total). Excellent coarse fishing with carp to over 25lb and sturgeon to 30lb.
