spied both blue/purple and white mistflowers at ArtHouse

Blue Mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum) or Wild Ageratum blooms in late summer and autumn. Look for this native along streams and roadside ditches across the eastern US. Some people plant it in their yard for its beautiful flowers and hardiness, but be forewarned, it can easily spread (or maybe that’s what you want…). Blue Mistflower attracts a variety of bees and butterflies.
