We ❤️ our 🌎 and strive to keep things green on S/Y Euphoria. While yachting is not traditionally known for being a green industry, every thoughtful action and purchase counts. Here are a few of the green products we use onboard :
- bamboo : napkins , TP and paper towels
- plant-based, compostable trash bags
- plant-based + coconut fiber sponges
- refillable vs single use shampoos, conditioners + body wash
- Paper-based refillable cleaning supplies
- Reef safe sunscreen recyclable tins
- Re-usable water cups for guests to stay hydrated

“INDIGENOUS NAMES OF CARIBBEAN ISLANDS
This list of the indigenous names of the Caribbean islands is a compilation of the indigenous names that were given by Amerindian people to those islands before the Europeans started naming them. The islands of the Eastern Caribbean were successively settled beginning with Trinidad at least around 5000BC, long before European arrival in 1492. The Eastern Caribbean islands were dominated by two main cultural groups by the European contact period: the Arawaks and the Kalinago, or Caribs. Individual villages of other distinct cultural groups were also present on the more southerly, larger islands. The large island of Trinidad in particular was shared by both Kalinago and Arawak groups.”

From December to April, humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae) migrate south from the North Atlantic waters to mate and breed. Whales are often seen and clearly heard underwater in the BVI during their annual southern migration. 🐋
We cannot wait to see what amazing creatures we encounter this season on S/Y Euphoria!

Oh heyyy… Euphoria crew back again 👋 Captain Kyle had a relaxing and fun off-season visiting friends and family on the East Coast. He was excited to enhance his mixology 🍹 skills by completing a bartenders course - his new favorite drink he created and named ‘Salt of the Ocean’ - a refreshing blue margarita with a sea salt rim that looks like the color of the ocean. He also completed some captain course work, spent time working on his personal sailboat ⛵️ Ghost Dancer and friends’ boats, and delivered Let’s Play Two to its new owners (congrats to the family! 🥳).
