Sorrento/Amalfi Coast! What a gorgeous place to visit! We stayed at the Hilton Sorrento Palace and it was amazing! People grounds, indoor/outdoor pools and the location was great. We hired a driver to take us to the coast seeing Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. About a 7 hour excursion. Stunning views. In the warmer months the ocean would be great to swim in. Unfortunately it was a little chilly while we were there. Overall, a must visit city and I cannot wait to go back!

London is a lovely city! Highly recommend staying in the Covant Garden/ Soho district area. We choose the London Edition (Marriott property) and it was amazing! So much to do and see within walking distance. Also, highly recommended doing an open top hop on and off bus as a way to see all the sites!

Recently stayed at the El Dorado Seaside suites in Cancun Mexico. Pros and cons to this resort:

Pros: loved the seaside suites room set up. We booked the swim up ocean view which gave us direct access to the swim up bar. It was perfect for just hanging at the pool at our room (and have a bathroom and rooms service!), enjoying the crowds and music. I loved all the personal touches they had, especially the Christmas decorations. That was lovely and nothing I’ve seen before. But I haven’t been at Christmas before either. Still, things like the painted coconuts from past guests was fun.

The food was fine. Not great, not terrible. Just fine. We didn’t get a chance to try it all. Maybe we just missed on the really good spots.

Cons: this resort is huge! If you want to go anywhere it takes forever. This could be a pro for some, I prefer a smaller resort personally. The beach by our rooms was not good. They had Bali beds and they were easy to get because the beach was so rocky and no soft sand. Not the beautiful beach you expect in Cancun. However, you could walk waaaayyyy to the other side, the Palms side, and have access to a wonderful beach. But with a million other people and no Bali beds available. I can’t speak to the rooms on that side but I can say I liked our room set up better. But the beach and restaurants on the Palms side did seem to be better. Also, this resort is far from the airport. Took us 1.5 hours each way. Definitely the furthest I’ve stayed from the hotel.

Overall, fun trip. If the price was right I would recommend this location. If money is no object, there are others I’d pick. 🌴🌊☀️
